📢 IMPORTANT REMINDER: THE REALITY OF MAWLIDUNNABIYY ﷺ

Watch this clip carefully.

The Sheikh explains clearly:
"As for Mawlid in particular, there is NO evidence for it from the Book [Qur'an], nor the Sunnah, nor the actions of the Companions, nor the best generations [Salaf]. So what was sufficient for them, is sufficient for us."

He further warned us with the words of the Prophet ﷺ:
"Do not exaggerate in praising me..."
And: "Say: I am only a servant of Allah and His Messenger."

Brothers and Sisters, our love for the Prophet ﷺ is NOT measured by new practices he never did.
Our love is measured by:
1. Following his Sunnah
2. Sending Salawat upon him
3. Studying his Seerah
4. Emulating his character
5. Calling to Tawheed

Allah alone brings benefit and harm. Allah alone knows the unseen. To believe otherwise about ANY creation goes against clear Qur'an.

Let’s protect the honor of the Prophet ﷺ by sticking to what he and his Sahaba were upon.

MAULIDUNNABIYY ﷺ: CELEBRATION OR MISREPRESENTATION?

Watch this video carefully.
On one side you will see how some people "celebrate" Maulidunnabiyy.
On the other side is our father and respected scholar, Sheikh Dr. Sani Harun - a core leader of the Tijjaniyyah - speaking the truth about what Maulid is NOT supposed to be.

His words are clear: This kind of display is UN-CALLED FOR and NOT PART OF WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE NAMED AS MAULIDUNNABIYY.

Brothers and Sisters, let us ask ourselves:
1. Did the Prophet ﷺ, the Sahaba, or the 4 Imams celebrate his birthday?
2. Is our love for the Prophet ﷺ shown by following his Sunnah, or by acts he never taught us?
3. How do we celebrate Maulid in a way that pleases Allah and His Messenger ﷺ?

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected." [Bukhari, Muslim]

Love for the Prophet ﷺ is in obedience, not innovation.
Love for the Prophet ﷺ is in character, Salawat, Seerah, and Sadaqah.

I am not posting this to mock anyone. I am posting this because we must protect the honor of the Prophet ﷺ and the sanctity of our Deen.

📢 JUMU'AH REPORT | IGALA ISLAMIC CHANNEL TV 📢

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Alhamdulillah, we were opportune to attend today's Jumu'ah prayer with the Muslim Ummah at ANKPA CENTRAL MOSQUE.

Here are the key highlights from the Khutbah and Sermon delivered today, 21st August 2026:

TOPIC: SABR [PATIENCE]

The Imam began with glorifying Allah and sending salutations upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

1. Patience in Dawah: The Imam reminded us that patience was one of the greatest tools the Prophet ﷺ used in calling people to Islam. Without patience, despite all the harm from the Arabs, Islam would not have spread.
2. Patience is Compulsory: Patience is among the deeds Allah has made compulsory upon the believers. We must have patience with ourselves, with others, and in the acts of worship Allah placed upon us.
3. Branches of Patience: This includes patience in obeying Allah - maintaining the 5 daily prayers, purifying ourselves, observing both Fard and Nawafil, and fasting in Ramadan.
4. Good Character & Istighfar: The Imam urged us to be steadfast in Istighfar and Tawbah. He also emphasized good character to our neighbors. He quoted a Hadith: "The 2 things that will lead people to Jannah are: Taqwa of Allah and Husnul Khulq. And the 2 things that will lead people to Hell are: The Tongue and the Private Parts."
5. Dua for the Deceased: The Imam made special dua for Imam Mustapha Alifeti, the Chief Imam of Benue, who passed away on 19th August and was buried yesterday 20th August 2026 in Akatampia, Ankpa LGA. May Allah forgive him and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
