The father of late singer Mohbad, Mr. Joseph Aloba, has demanded that the Lagos State Attorney General, Lawal Pedro (SAN), take immediate action to prosecute his son’s wife, Omowunmi Aloba, the auxiliary nurse Ogedengbe Fisayo, Prime Boy, and others indicted in the tragic death of the singer.

Aloba, through his lawyer, Dr. Wahab Sh*ttu (SAN), submitted a petition on October 3, 2025, insisting that the suspects must be charged within 14 days based on the findings of the coroner’s inquest.

The petition comes nearly three months after Magistrate Adetayo Shotobi of the Ikorodu Magistrate Court delivered the coroner’s verdict, which indicted several people for complicity in Mohbad’s death.

According to the verdict, the nurse, Ogedengbe Fisayo, was faulted for unlawful medical practice and gross negligence after administering injections on Mohbad without any medical diagnosis.

The coroner also faulted Omowunmi, stating that as Mohbad’s closest person, she was negligent by allowing an uncertified nurse to handle his treatment instead of calling emergency services or ensuring proper hospital care.

Prime Boy and others who were present when the 27-year-old singer was in distress were equally faulted for failing to urgently move him to a hospital.

Sh*ttu stressed that despite the clear indictments, no prosecution has taken place since the verdict was delivered in July, raising fears that justice may be delayed.

Quoting directly from the verdict, he noted that the auxiliary nurse administered three injections — tetanus, paracetamol, and ceftriaxone — without any diagnosis, describing her actions as unlawful and reckless.

He further reminded the Attorney General that the inquest also held Omowunmi culpable for negligence, as she witnessed the emergency but did not insist on proper medical attention.

The petition warned that if the state fails to act within the 14-day window, Aloba’s legal team will seek a fiat to prosecute the matter on behalf of the state under the Lagos State criminal justice law.

The late singer’s father emphasised that the matter remains of intense public concern and vowed to pursue justice until those indicted are held accountable.

BBN S10: Despite Being Disqualified, Dr. Faith Gets to Keep N38m and Car

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Faith, may have been disqualified, but he will not lose the prizes he won before his exit.

Show organisers confirmed to newsmen that the 25-year-old, who was sent packing on Thursday, October 2, 2025, after clashing with fellow housemate Sultana, will still keep the N38m Innoson car he won earlier in the week.

Faith’s journey ended after a heated argument over a group soap-making task turned physical. Sultana had arrived late but insisted on taking some ingredients. Faith resisted, and the dispute escalated into a scuffle that left Sultana inj¥red. Despite prior warnings against aggression, his actions earned him immediate disqualification.

The incident split opinions among fans and housemates. Some said he deserved the p¥nishment, while others felt it was unfair so close to the finale.

A day later, a viral video showed Faith hugging his father, who told him: “Don’t worry, you’re great, don’t worry, you’ve done well, no doubt about that. You are fantastic. We love you. It shall continue to be well. Nobody can truncate your destiny.”

Born June 16, 2000, Faith is a doctor and augmented reality creator. Before entering the show, he declared: “I’m not just here for the vibes. I’m here to lead, to stir things up, and to keep viewers glued… I can command a room with silence or spark gbas gbos with a single line.” He described himself as competitive, flirty, loyal, single, and polyamorous.

I saw a video of VDM in China, according to him , he is China to bring in solar lights batteries for the Nigerian market

The battery would be flooded in the Nigerian market at an affordable price .

His target buyers are students and those who live in the ghetto

According to him, they will be sold at affordable prices or regulated prices

VDM said, he would be doing it to help Nigerians as the only man with the platform and integrity

This is where I have my issues with VDM .

I totally disagreed with VDM as the one with integrity in Nigeria.

I don't know how VDM arrived at this .

Who told VDM he is the only man with integrity in Nigeria?

When you say this now, his followers will come for you.

How will VDM claim to be the only man with integrity in Nigeria?

I am so disappointed with with VDM and his supporters

Nigeria a country of over two hundred million people, and VDM is in China telling the world he is the only man with integrity in Nigeria.

This is so laughable

'My being in the 2027 Presidential race does not prevent anyone from contesting. If a vibrant and widely accepted younger candidate emerges, I am willing to step aside. I am not desperate to become the president. I just want to rescue Nigeria from the people that have held it hostage' -Atiku Abubakar
