Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty in federal court today to two stalking charges connected to the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

He Spent 11 Years in Prison — Then DNA Pointed to Another Man | Chad Heins
Chad Heins was 19 years old when his life became tied to a murder that would haunt him for decades.

In April 1994, 20-year-old Tina Heins, who was pregnant, was murdered inside her Jacksonville, Florida apartment.

Chad—Tina's brother-in-law—had been staying at the apartment. Investigators focused on him, and in 1996, a jury convicted him of Tina's murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.

But years later, advances in DNA testing changed the case.

Biological evidence connected to the crime scene produced a male DNA profile that did not match Chad Heins and did not match Tina's husband.
