‎Isoko Youth Body Summons Davido Over “Problem Jam Isoko” Lyrics

‎By TNN | Trend Nation News | October 7, 2025

‎The Isoko National Youth Assembly (INYA) Worldwide, has issued a formal seven day summons to award-winning Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, over the use of the phrase “Problem Jam Isoko” in his recent viral lyrics.

‎The youth organization described the statement as “potentially derogatory” and “capable of misrepresenting the identity and reputation of the Isoko nation.”

‎In a press release signed by its National President, Comr. Eniwake Orogun, and made available to journalists in Ozoro on Tuesday, the group said Davido must appear before the INYA leadership to explain the intent behind the lyric and address the concerns of the Isoko people.

‎“While we acknowledge the creative freedom of artists, we also believe that such freedom must be exercised with cultural sensitivity and respect for the diverse ethnic identities that make up Nigeria,” the statement read in part.

‎According to the youth body, the lyric “Problem Jam Isoko,” which has gained traction across social media platforms, could be interpreted as casting the Isoko people in an unfavorable light. The group maintains that it will not tolerate any attempt, deliberate or otherwise, to ridicule the Isoko nation.

‎The summons, effective from the date of publication, mandates Davido to appear before the Youth President and the National Executive Committee within seven (7) days.

‎The group noted that the meeting will provide an opportunity for dialogue and mutual understanding between the artist and the Isoko community.

‎However, the statement also warned that failure to honor the invitation may lead to “further public and moral actions deemed necessary to defend the image and dignity of the Isoko people.”

‎“The Isoko nation is known for peace, hospitality, and industriousness. We expect Mr. Adeleke to treat this invitation with the respect it deserves,” the statement concluded.

‎As of the time of filing this report, Davido or his management team had yet to issue any official response regarding the summons.

‎Transforming Lives, Redefining Leadership: Prince Olatunji’s Journey of Service and Humanity
[Trend news]

‎By John Jeph

‎In a time when leadership is often measured by promises rather than impact, Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji has distinguished himself as a rare example of selfless service and transformative vision. His story is not one of mere influence but of consistent sacrifice and deliberate action, anchored in the belief that leadership must first serve humanity.

‎Across education, healthcare, agriculture, culture, and security, his philanthropic footprint continues to change lives and uplift communities, leaving a legacy that speaks louder than words.

‎Prince Olatunji’s contributions have earned him recognition from far and wide, including the Golden Torch of Humanity Award presented by the Southern Women Empowerment Forum in May 2025. Yet, to him, awards are secondary to the true reward of seeing lives transformed and communities empowered.

‎His dedication to education remains a defining feature of his philanthropy. Through the Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation (PROOF), he has sponsored over one thousand students for free JAMB registrations and Senior School Certificate Examinations. For countless families struggling to meet the rising costs of education, this intervention has restored hope. Beyond registration support, his foundation has offered scholarships, mentorship, and guidance to young learners, giving them not just access to education but also the confidence and direction needed to pursue meaningful futures. By investing in education, he is nurturing leaders of tomorrow while building a stronger foundation for society today.

‎His compassion extends beyond education into the lives of the vulnerable and the elderly. Each month, over six hundred (600) indigent individuals, including widows, orphans, and persons with disabilities receive financial stipends and relief packages from him. For elderly citizens, who often find themselves neglected, he has ensured dignity and care, proving that leadership is about valuing humanity at every stage of life. Prince Olatunji’s philanthropy does not discriminate between the strong and the weak, but seeks to uplift all who are in need.

‎His interventions in healthcare and security highlight his holistic approach to development. He donated thirty million naira (N30,000,000) to the Anglican College of Nursing & Health Technology in Ogidi-Ijumu, a gesture that not only sustained the institution but also led to its administrative building being named in his honor. He also committed four and a half million (N4,500,000) naira to the renovation of a local police station, reflecting his conviction that peace and security are the foundation of any meaningful progress. More recently, he donated operational vehicles to the Kogi State Government to boost security operations. This intervention has greatly improved response times and mobility for law enforcement, strengthening the state’s ability to protect lives and property. Through his initiatives, Prince Olatunji has demonstrated that his vision of leadership embraces both immediate human needs and the systems that safeguard communities for the future.

‎Agriculture has also benefited from his benevolence. Understanding the struggles faced by rural farmers, his foundation distributed agricultural insecticides to more than four hundred and fifty (450) farmers across Kogi West. In doing so, he helped protect farmlands against pest infestations, boosted yields, and contributed to food security. His efforts prove that true empowerment must create opportunities for self reliance, ensuring communities can sustain themselves for generations.

‎Despite his modern vision, Prince Olatunji remains deeply connected to tradition. He was recently conferred with the title “Basorun Akinjagunla of Ogidi Kingdom,” an honor that reflects the trust and respect he has earned within cultural and traditional institutions. He continues to pay homage to monarchs across Kogi West, fostering unity and harmony between traditional leadership and modern development. By strengthening these bonds, he has shown that progress must never come at the expense of cultural identity.

‎Religious inclusivity is also a hallmark of his philanthropy. During Ramadan, he extended cash and gifts to the Muslim community in Ayere, affirming his belief that compassion knows no boundaries of faith. His inclusive approach has brought people together across divides, reinforcing unity in diversity as a strength for community growth.

‎What sets Prince Olatunji apart is not merely the range of his philanthropy, but its consistency and sustainability. He does not see leadership as a title to be held but as a responsibility to build people, strengthen systems, and inspire others. His vision honors tradition while embracing progress, offering help in the present while laying the groundwork for a better tomorrow.

‎From education to healthcare, agriculture to security, culture to unity, Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji has become more than a philanthropist; he is a symbol of hope. His story is that of a man who has chosen service over self, compassion over convenience, and action over words.

‎As his foundation continues to expand its reach, and as his personal commitment to humanity deepens, one thing is clear: Prince Olatunji is not just changing lives, he is redefining leadership for generations yet to come.

Enough Air Almost experience the unCOMFORTABLE| News

A passenger on Enugu Air wrote:

"On an Enugu Air flight to Lagos from Abuja this morning, August 16th, another mild drama played out briefly.

As the plane taxied, the pilot, a female captain, announced that there was a recalcitrant passenger who had declined switching off his phone as instructed, and that if the fellow insisted, she might be left with no option but to make a U-turn.

At this point, she had stopped on the runway.

Hearing this warning, other passengers took it upon themselves and started shouting at this potentially disruptive passenger. Eventually, he turned off his phone, and the journey to Lagos continued.

But here is why this piece became compelling and timely. While the purser, a calm and well-mannered lady, was appealing to him to turn off his phone and he refused, hear what he said to her: "Wetin happen for Ibom Air go happen for here now now."

That's the result of having a poor reward and sanction system with no consequences. If those who had tried this nonsense had faced the penalties for their action and not the shameful "slap on the wrist" punishment meted out to them, another irreverent passenger would not open his mouth and say, "Wetin happen for Ibom Air go happen for here now now."

No serious nation tramples on its own laws or chooses when to enforce them or not and against whom. The two recent breaches in air safety protocols and their handling have shown how unserious we are as a people and also why our leadership will continue to create strong people as against strong institutions. It is a conscious decision. It has never been an accident.

With the disastrous handling of the K1 and the K2 matters, even though no attention was given to the incident tagged K3, a template has been created already and it will haunt the Aviation Sector for a long time to come. The shame is not just for the leadership. The people, too, share a large chunk of it as intentional enablers of bad behaviours.

Fans and supporters of the Fuji king are now buying similar gold flasks as a form of solidarity with him, displaying it with arrogance of "na we dey power." Also, practically every money-miss-road, including government officials, had offered "Auntie Komfo" one form of comfort or the other, obviously because...

But such people will never offer similar encouragement to outstanding students in any field or institution. We celebrate silly things and reward bad behaviours at the expense of more edifying tangibles and intangibles.

Indeed, Nigeria and her people are a case study in human civilisation".

Popular Human Right Activist Harrison Gwamnishu campaign billboard torn into shreds.

From the Post obtained from his page reads below;

I didn't pick up Labour Party nomination form to fight anyone.

I have been peaceful with my consultations and grass root visitations.

I don't see any reason why my two billboard mounted in Ogwashi- Uku will be a problem to anyone.

Before the consultant mounted my billboard, I paid for the Delta State Advert fee and also the Local Government.

Last night, one of the candidates threatened the consultant that they should stop giving me visibility and pull down my billboard.

This morning they removed the flex and told me to stay clear from Ogwashi Uku.

The town is ours. We will change the narrative and together rebuild our communities.

My wife was sleeping next to me... and all of a sudden I got a Facebook notification, and a woman asked me to add her. So I added her.
I accepted the friend request and sent a message asking, "Do we know each other?"
She replied: "I heard you got married but I still love you." 😧
She was a friend from the past. She looked very beautiful in the picture.
I closed the chat and looked at my wife, she was sleeping soundly after her exhausting day of work.
Looking at her, I was thinking about how she feels so safe that she can sleep so comfortably in a completely new home with me.
She is far from her parents' house, where she spent 24 hours surrounded by her family. When she was upset or sad, her mother was there so she could cry in her lap. Her sister or brother would tell jokes and make her laugh. Her father would come home and bring her everything she liked and still, she placed so much trust in me.
All these thoughts came to mind, so I picked up the phone and pressed "BLOCK".
I turned to her and slept next to her.
I am a man, not a child. I have sworn to be faithful to her and so it will be. I will fight forever to be a man who doesn't cheat on his wife and tear a family apart.
