OVER CONFIDENCE
Part 1
I was early for the interview that morning, I really need this job and nothing was going to stop me from getting it.
The post of a regional manager in ED Mobil is a big offer that comes with lots of benefits.
My credentials are all stacked in my robber file, there's nothing missing
Looking around me, I can see two men and a lady, they're all waiting to be interviewed.
I chuckled quietly, they're no match for my calibre of person.
I was the first to arrive and was glad when the receptionist asked me to write down my name and offcourse my name was the first at 7 o'clock on the dot.
I smiled at the pretty receptionist and she offcourse returned the favour of smiling back.
She's going to be my junior colleague soon, I can't wait
I crossed my leg as I sat, checking through my phones and wearing a convincing smile.
Others started arriving 20 minutes later, I wasn't bothered or threatened by their appearance.
I had a hundred percent full confidence on myself
From my expensive designer shirt, my pant trouser, tie and even my black shoe was top notch
Nothing beats it.
All I see is cheap outfits Which makes me very outstanding.
Nothing and no one can beat my gentle man look.
I watched as the whole staff arrived work and went to their different offices.
I got prepared because any moment from now, i will be called in.
I saw the janitor, she's an elderly lady.
She was mobbing very close to me and I kept removing my expensive shoe from the road so that she won't stain me with dirts but just then her mobbing bucket fell right beside me and the dirty water splashed on my fine shoe before I can raise up my legs
"Oh! sorry sir..I'm so sorry sir"
"Whaaat the hel..." I screamed
"... how do they even employed you here, this company can afford professional cleaners why allow old hags like you to come rùin their reputation.."
"...This shoe is very expensive, now look at what you did..."
I was very furious.
Others look on without words while the cleaner kept apologising.
Just then the CEO arrives with some of his managers
"... Great, this woman is from the pit of h3ll. She wants to ruin my day but she won't succeed..." I muttered to myself
The CEO pause in front of me and I can see him admiring my fine shirt and tie
"It's everything okay here? He asked
Before the cleaner will talk I quickly told the CEO how careless the cleaner was in her duty and spilled dirty water all over me.
I was hoping this kind of ill event will work in my favour
Atleast the CEO will consider me fast and send others away
The cleaner didn't stop apologising
The CEO also apologised and I told him that it was alright, I flashed him another of my w1cked smile.
He said in the next 5 minutes I will be called to come in for the interview.
I had another satisfying smile as I sat back and watched as they walked away.
I asked the cleaner to get something neat and clean off my shoes
She quickly did
I guess she used her handkerchief but I cared less
She bent over and started cleaning my shoes
The stain was just a little but I made her clean it repeatedly
"Where are you going? Can't you see this spot is not cleaned yet? I pointed out to the cleaner who apologised and came back cleaning the shoe.
After I was satisfied I asked her to go
And in no time I was called in to the CEO's office.
I matched with full confidence into his office but a shocking scene greeted me
I was shocked to my bone marrow when I saw the person sitting down on the CEOs office
,"jeeezz! whaaat the hel..., what's going on here..?
