There are those who are called to carry the Messiah, and there are those who are called to be the Messiah to their generation.
Mary carried the Messiah, but Jesus was the Messiah.
The question is: Which one are you?
Some are called to become the answer God sends to a family, a community, and a generation. Others are called to nurture, raise, and position the Messiah God intends to reveal through them.
Both callings are divine. Both are important. The key is to identify where you belong and align yourself with God’s purpose.
As for me, I believe I am called to be a Messiah to my generation, while also raising and nurturing other Messiahs who will fulfill God’s purpose in their time.
Let this be in your mind every day: What has God called me to be? A carrier of the vision, or the vision itself? A nurturer of greatness, or the greatness He wants to reveal?
When you discover your assignment, your life will begin to make sense.
