THE BOY WHO SANG TO THE STARS
SCENE 1 — THE DREAM
Early morning. A poor teenage boy named Daniel sits outside a small house, holding an old microphone made from broken materials.
Daniel closes his eyes and sings softly.
DANIEL:
“Someday, the whole world will hear my voice.”
His mother watches from the doorway.
MOTHER:
“Daniel, dreams are good… but don't forget we need food too.”
Daniel smiles.
DANIEL:
“I know, Mama. One day, my music will change our lives.”
SCENE 2 — THE MOCKERY
At school, Daniel sings during break.
Some students laugh.
STUDENT:
“You? A musician? Look at your shoes!”
Everyone laughs.
Daniel lowers his head and walks away.
That night, he sits alone beneath the stars.
DANIEL:
“If nobody believes in me… maybe the stars will.”
He begins singing.
SCENE 3 — THE DISCOVERY
The next day, Daniel records himself singing with an old phone.
He posts the video online.
At first, only three people watch it.
Then ten.
Then one hundred.
Then thousands.
Daniel stares at the screen in disbelief.
DANIEL:
“Mama… look!”
His mother smiles with tears in her eyes.
SCENE 4 — THE OPPORTUNITY
A famous music producer sees Daniel's video.
He sends a message:
“I want to meet you. Don't stop singing.”
Daniel cannot believe it.
But there is one problem: he doesn't have money to travel to the city.
His mother sells her only valuable possession to pay for his transport.
MOTHER:
“Go, my son. Sometimes a mother has to sacrifice today so her child can see tomorrow.”
Daniel hugs her tightly.
SCENE 5 — THE AUDITION
Daniel arrives at a large studio.
He sees expensive cars and talented singers.
He becomes nervous.
The producer looks at him.
PRODUCER:
“What makes you think you belong here?”
Daniel takes a deep breath.
DANIEL:
“I don't have money. I don't have expensive clothes. I don't even have a proper microphone.”
He looks directly at the producer.
DANIEL:
“But I have a voice… and I refuse to give up.”
The room becomes silent.
Daniel begins to sing.
SCENE 6 — THE TURNING POINT
The producer slowly stands up.
Everyone listens.
When Daniel finishes, there is silence.
Then the producer begins clapping.
PRODUCER:
“Where have you been hiding this voice?”
Daniel smiles.
SCENE 7 — THE STAGE
Months later.
Daniel walks onto a huge stage.
Thousands of people are cheering.
He looks into the crowd and sees his mother.
He remembers the small house, the insults, the broken microphone and the nights beneath the stars.
DANIEL:
“This song is for everyone who has ever been told that their dream is too big.”
Music begins.
Daniel sings.
His mother cries proudly.
FINAL SCENE
After the performance, Daniel walks outside.
He looks up at the night sky.
DANIEL:
“I told you I'd make it.”
The stars shine above him.
FADE OUT.
FINAL MESSAGE ON SCREEN
“Never let your circumstances convince you that your dreams are impossible.”
