Away from sentiments, we must learn to accept the truth. The truth that our parents failed to tell us, the truth that society refused to tell us. That education is not a thicket for a job.
That education is meant to teach us how to solve problems and create jobs and not to become the problems seeking jobs.
Children grow up working so hard to pass exams because their parents told them all they needed to have a good life was a good grade.
They did not tell them that education does not teach you how to be rich but teaches you how to conform to society and sustain culture.
They failed to tell them that education is not an end in itself but a means to an end.
So children work so hard and graduate with good grades thinking that it is a passport to good job so when they failed to secure a job they vent their anger wrongly by becoming deviants, fraudsters, kidnappers, armed robbers and ritualists because they were lied to and they lived all their lives believing the lie so they missed the opportunity to prepare for the truth.
So Buhari said nothing wrong, he only told us the truth we all don't wish to embrace.
