WHO IS EMMANUEL EHIDIAMEN OKOEBOR - (EEO)?
Emmanuel Ehidiamen Okoebor was born in Uromi, Edo State.
He attended Agbado Primary School and Edo College, Benin City, where he graduated with distinction. He graduated from the University of Benin with a degree in Civil Engineering, and a further MBA from the same university.
He is an Engineer by study but a senior banker by trade, with over decades experience.
Emmanuel speaks Edo and Esan languages fluently and understands a few other languages in Edo North.
He is detribalized. Emmanuel is happily married to the wife of his youth, Osemwonyenmwen Ehi-Okoebor, a humble, homely, and God-fearing Bini woman.
Along with his wife, he set up the *DATWL Ehi Foundation, an organization tasked with helping disadvantaged children and widows. DATWL - Do All Things With Love.
Over the past ten years, the Foundation has supported less privileged students across Edo State with WAEC enrollment fees, and awarded scholarships to numerous university students, and donated thousands of free exercise books to primary school pupils across the Districts of Edo State and beyond.
A true Edolite, and a thoroughbred Esan man with Okpebho and Agbazilo parentage, Emmanuel Okoebor continues to invest heavily in the state by focusing extensively on improving its human capital as well as helping less privileged children in urban and rural communities.
Although Emmanuel has yet to declare to run for governor, many interest groups across the three senatorial districts of Edo State have expressed earnest desire that he joined the race, to run for governor in 2024.
