*UKWULU COMMUNITY DECLARES UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR ONYENDOZI'S SENATORIAL BID*

On February 9th, 2023, the residents of Ukwulu in Dunukofia LGA gathered in large numbers to express their support for the senatorial campaign of Onye Ndozi.

The APGA senatorial candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District and representative of Anaocha, Dunukofia, and Njikoka Federal Constituency, Hon. Dozie Ferdinand Nwankwo, visited the palace of HRM Igwe Peter A. Uyanwa, Ezedike Ukwulu, as part of his community campaign tour in the area.

Hon. Nwankwo was accompanied by Hon Pete Ibida, the APGA House of Representatives candidate for Anaocha, Dunukofia, and Njikoka Federal Constituency, Hon Chuks Azotani, the House of Assembly candidate for Dunukofia State Constituency, and Hon Uche Umerie, among others.

The group sought the royal blessing of Ezedike Ukwulu and informed him of Hon Nwankwo's senatorial ambition.

In his remarks, the monarch welcomed the delegation and stated that Onye Ndozi was a frequent visitor to the palace and that Ukwulu was like a second home to him.

He further declared that it was time for the community to repay Onye Ndozi for always remembering and supporting them. Igwe Ezedike Ukwulu extended his full support and blessings to Hon. Nwankwo's campaign.

Later, Hon. Nwankwo met with a large crowd of supporters at Afor Market Square in Ukwulu, where he addressed them and highlighted some of his recent projects, such as the bill for the establishment of the Federal College of Agriculture (Technical) Enugwu Ukwu campus, which has passed its first reading in the Senate. He also spoke about the ICT and development center he built in Enugwu Ukwu and the scholarship program he is extending to qualified students in the remaining four LGA's of Anambra Central.

Onyendozi represents a path towards a new and better Anambra Central Senatorial District.

*Easter Message By Hon. ThankGod Kenechukwu Ibeh*

Ndi Anambra,

I bring you greetings in the name of our risen Lord Jesus Christ, whose life, death and resurrection we celebrate today. We all journeyed throughout Lenten season with fasting, self deprivations, charity and alms giving directed towards the greater good of mankind

Today, as we celebrate the great victory of our Lord Jesus over death, I pray that we all drop all forms of negativity; eschewing evil and all manners of hate and commit ourselves to only that which is good. May we, Ndi Anambra never forget the lessons of the season and the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ. May it continually continue to reflect in our lives and distinguish us from others be it in business, our workplace, leadership, politics and etc.

To my fellow Anambra Youths, we all should continue to emulate our Lord Jesus Christ, a youth, who even with the equality shared with the father became man, humbled, for our sins and died on the cross for our sake. Kedu udi ihunanya dika nkea? I pray that the teachings and mysteries of this season propel us all to become better citizens.

Finally, may Almighty God shower us all with the blessings of this great season and grant all our good heart desires in the name of our risen Lord Jesus Christ, Hallelujah! Amen! Happy Easter to you all.

Nigeria’s National Health Act (NHAct), enacted in late 2014, officially recognizes Nigerians’ right to health. And through the NHAct, the Basic Health Care Provision Fund provides financial resources to improve primary health care. Federal and State governments currently spend about 15% of their annual budget on health care. This high level of medical spending, combined with the increased need for services and reduced revenues driven by an economic recession, creates enormous financial difficulties for states, as their experience with budget shortfalls over the past few years illustrates. Therefore states have an urgent need to modernize the medical care system to improve the quality of care while simultaneously lowering its cost.

Hon. ThankGod Ibeh is committed in ensuring quality healthcare delivery to Ndi Anambra, which he has been doing for a longtime. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a well-functioning health care system requires a robust financing mechanism; a well-trained and adequately-paid workforce; reliable information on which to base decisions and policies; and well maintained health facilities and logistics to deliver quality medicines and technologies.

Aside building of new modern hospitals and provision of adquate medical facilities, Hon. ThankGod Ibeh will improve on our health sector through the following ways;

Integrating adequate medical intelligence and surveillance systems. Medical Information System (MEDISYS) is a media monitoring system that provides event-based surveillance to rapidly identify potential public health threats using information from media reports. It is also used to combat and effectively monitor the outbreak of communicable diseases and bio attack.

Another practical way to improve primary healthcare delivery in Anambra state is by disseminating vital information through health and awareness campaigns. When the public are properly and regularly informed about diseases, preventive tips and healthcare information the nation benefits.

Inform people about the NHIS. In 2016, a report was published which stated that only 4% of Nigerians are covered by the NHIS. This is appalling, considering the fact that other developing countries like Ghana and Kenya already have 50% coverage of their own health insurance schemes. Our target is to get up to 50-70% of Ndi Anambra to engage in NHIS.

Let's not be in a haste to forget that, Hon. ThankGod Kenechukwu Ibeh, in the year 2013 hosted well trained medical personnels from around the world at Orumba North, to offer FREE medical care to Ndi Anambra. Where many were cured, some operated on, others received drugs free of charge. Indeed, Hon. ThankGod Ibeh bụ ọdị mbu eme.

ThankGod Kenechukwu Ibeh yesterday, 15th February 2021 congratulated Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iwuala on her appointment as the Director General of the World Trade Organization. He described her as a role model and source of inspiration to the future generation.

In his words,"I wish to congratulate you on your appointment as the Director General of World Trade Organization, indeed it is well deserved. I have always known you were destined for great things, and now the rest of the world has caught up. I knew the appointment was meant for none other than you. I’m so glad it finally came your way. This is an opportunity to use the rare talent that nature has given you. You are a role model and source of inspiration both to our generation and generations yet unborn".
