Something special is coming to the Faith Unfiltered Show!
On Saturday, 15th August, we are honoured to welcome a very special guest from Ghana — Ajeezay, born Nathaniel Mensah, a celebrated Ghanaian comedian, entertainer, actor, musician and content creator.
Ajeezay is not just another entertainer. He is a personality whose journey brings together comedy, creativity, music, education, talent discovery and faith — making his appearance on Faith Unfiltered particularly exciting.
🇬🇭 From Ghana's comedy scene to a viral sensation
Many people across Ghana and beyond will remember Ajeezay for his hilarious Ghanaian remix of Master KG's global hit “Jerusalema,” which he transformed into “Jerusalema Soup.”
The comedy rendition became one of the works that brought him tremendous attention during the worldwide Jerusalema craze. Ajeezay later explained that he deliberately approached comedian Funny Face for the remix because of Funny Face's huge audience and ability to help take the song to an even wider audience.
But there is much more to Ajeezay than one viral song.
👑 THE NONFA KING
Ajeezay is widely associated with the title “Nonfa King”, a reference to his distinctive one-liner and wordplay comedy style. His creative approach to comedy has helped him establish a recognizable identity within Ghana's entertainment industry.
His work has also extended beyond comedy into music and acting, demonstrating the versatility that has kept him relevant across different areas of Ghanaian entertainment.
He released his Evolution EP in 2020, featuring several Ghanaian artistes, further demonstrating his ambitions beyond stand-up comedy.
🎓 Behind the laughter is an academic
Perhaps one of the most fascinating things about Ajeezay is the person behind the entertainment.
Nathaniel Mensah studied at the University of Cape Coast, graduating with First Class Honours in Science Education. And he didn't stop there.
In December 2025, he earned a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Cape Coast.
So, behind the comedian is an accomplished academic who has successfully combined education with entertainment.

Ajeezay's creative journey has continued to expand. In 2025, he played the role of a manager in the award-winning movie The Fisherman, demonstrating another dimension of his creative career.
He has also been involved in discovering and promoting emerging talent. In a recent account, Ajeezay spoke about his role in sharing an early viral video of Black Sherif, explaining how he wanted his experience to inspire young talents who are trying to find their way in the industry.
That makes his story particularly interesting: a comedian who understands entertainment, an educator who understands learning, and a content creator who understands the power of digital platforms.
