Prince Tyndale Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo – Security First for Anambra South

On August 16, Anambra South has a choice — a choice for safety, progress, and real change. Prince Tyndale Oforbuike Okoli-Egbo is ready to take the fight for security to the Senate, building on the bold legacy of Sen. Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

His plan is clear: stronger community policing, closer partnership with security agencies, and youth empowerment to tackle crime from the roots. Because without safety, businesses suffer, children can’t learn in peace, and communities can’t grow.

“Anambra deserves better, and better begins with security.”

Let’s make safety our priority. Let’s move Anambra South forward.

🟤 THERE IS NO ZONING IN ANAMBRA. CHOOSE LEADERSHIP, NOT DECEPTION

Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo told a crowd today that “there is zoning in Anambra.” He added that every stakeholder agreed to it for the sake of equity and order. His record says otherwise.

When did he become a believer?

• 2010. Soludo (Anambra South) ran under PDP while Peter Obi (Anambra Central) sought a second term. No zoning kept him out.
• 2013. Soludo switched to APGA and entered the race again after Peter Obi said the ticket would move to Anambra North. He ignored the claim and still ran.
• 2021. Soludo won the governorship. He was presented as a technocrat, not a zoning candidate.

If zoning were real, he would never have contested in 2010 or 2013. No one stopped him then. There is no binding system now. What we see is a tactic, not a principle. A revolving excuse that limits choice and keeps the same circle in power. APGA uses the story to protect positions and share dividends inside a tight ring of cronies.

YPP offers a clear alternative.

Sir Paul Chukwuma, the Young Progressives Party candidate for Governor, is not tied to the old game. He stands for merit, competence, and open doors.

• Empower fresh young people across all twenty‑one local governments.
• Circulate wealth instead of hoarding it in one corner.
• Build government on capacity, integrity, and service.

Anambra deserves leaders chosen by ability, not by convenience. Zoning is a camouflage. It is time to set it aside.

**APC INAUGURATES NEW PARTY SECRETARIAT IN ANAMBRA STATE: A HISTORIC STEP TOWARDS POLITICAL REINTEGRATION AND INCLUSION**

*February 8, 2025* – In a landmark event that signals a new era of political reintegration for the Southeast, the All Progressives Congress (APC) officially commissioned its new state secretariat in Anambra State. The ceremony, held on February 8, 2025, was graced by the presence of the APC National Chairman, His Excellency Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, alongside top party leaders, stakeholders, and aspirants, marking a significant milestone in the party’s quest to strengthen its foothold in the region.

The new secretariat, a generous donation from the esteemed philanthropist and political stalwart, **Sir Paul Chukwuma**, stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the APC in Anambra State. Sir Paul’s magnanimous contribution has not only provided the party with a state-of-the-art facility but has also reinforced the APC’s resolve to ensure the Southeast’s full participation in national politics.

In his remarks, the Anambra State APC Chairman, **Chief Basil Ejidike**, expressed profound gratitude to Sir Paul Chukwuma for his visionary leadership and generosity. He described the new secretariat as a “beacon of hope and unity” for the party in the state, emphasizing that such gestures are pivotal in driving the APC’s mission to secure democratic dividends for the Southeast. Chief Ejidike also lauded the APC National Chairman, Alhaji Ganduje, for his relentless support and strategic interventions since 2019, which have significantly bolstered the party’s operations in Anambra.

The APC National Chairman, **Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje**, in his address, commended Sir Paul Chukwuma for his exceptional contribution, describing him as a “true patriot and a pillar of the APC in the Southeast.” Ganduje highlighted the importance of the new secretariat as a symbol of the party’s growing influence and commitment to inclusivity. He reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s deliberate efforts to integrate the Southeast into the national framework, citing strategic appointments of Igbo leaders in key government positions as evidence of the APC’s dedication to ensuring the region’s rightful place in national governance.

Ganduje also reflected on the historical marginalization of the Igbo people, tracing it back to the post-Biafran war era. He emphasized that the APC, under his leadership, is determined to address these disparities through initiatives like the groundbreaking *De-Marginalization of the Igbos* event held in 2024, which was organized in collaboration with the late Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and Governor Hope Uzodimma. The event, which concluded with extensive empowerment programs, underscored Ganduje’s commitment to the political and economic inclusion of the Igbo people.

The event was also attended by prominent APC aspirants who have shown unwavering dedication to the party’s growth in Anambra State. Among them were **Professor Obiora Okonkwo**, a distinguished academic and business leader; **Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo**, a dynamic and resourceful political figure; and **Umeoji**, a passionate advocate for grassroots development. Their presence at the event underscored the unity and collective resolve of the APC in Anambra to work towards a common goal of political excellence and regional integration.

**Dozie Ikedife Jr.**, a frontline aspirant for the Anambra South Senatorial seat under the APC, also spoke at the event, expressing his gratitude to Sir Paul Chukwuma for his transformative contribution. He described the new secretariat as a “game-changer” that would galvanize the party’s base and boost morale ahead of the forthcoming elections. Ikedife praised Ganduje’s leadership style, which he said has elevated the APC’s status across Nigeria, and called on party members to remain united and focused on the party’s progressive ideals.

The event was attended by a host of top national and state party leaders, including **Chief Emma Enuku** (Deputy National Chairman, South), **Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu** (National Vice Chairman/Zonal Chairman, Southeast), **Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru** (National Secretary), **Mazi Nze Chidi Duru** (Deputy National Organizing Secretary), and **Mary Idele-Alile** (National Woman Leader), among others. Their presence underscored the national significance of the occasion and the APC’s collective resolve to deepen its roots in the Southeast.

The inauguration of the new APC secretariat in Anambra State is more than just the unveiling of a physical structure; it is a bold statement of the party’s growing influence and its commitment to fostering a more inclusive and politically vibrant Southeast. With the support of visionary leaders like Sir Paul Chukwuma and the strategic leadership of Alhaji Ganduje, the APC is poised to ensure that the Igbo voice is not only heard but also actively represented in the national discourse.

As the APC continues to expand its presence in the region, the foundation is being laid for a brighter, more inclusive future, where the Southeast can fully participate in shaping the destiny of Nigeria. This historic event is a clear indication that the APC is not just building structures but also bridging gaps and fostering unity across the nation.

*Grand Commissioning of Anambra APC Secretariat Donated by Sir Paul Chukwuma (Onwa Umueri)*

Today, members of the Knights of Sir Paul Chukwuma (KSP) will welcome our party's National Chairman Dr Abdullahi Ganduje in Anambra State as he comes to commission the APC State party secretariat donated to Anambra APC by Sir Paul Chukwuma (Onwa Umueri).

KSP is proud of Sir Paul Chukwuma, who is the frontline governorship aspirant in the APC and a man who is deeply rooted in the party for basically breathing life into the APC and making it once again a beautiful bride.

The magnificent edifice he secured and furnished for APC in Awka and across the 21 LGAs in Anambra is a testament to his love for the party and signs of greater things to come. Onwa sees APC as his eternal home and therefore wants to make it stand on a solid foundation to displace APGA come November 2025 and in other elections.

Members of KSP warmly welcome Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and members of the NWC as well as other visiting stakeholders of the APC to Anambra State for this grand opening.

On behalf of the leadership and membership of KSP, we commend Sir Paul Chukwuma for this great demonstration of magnanimity and love for the party as well as his tireless efforts to rebrand the party and energise the party structure at the grassroots. KSP is earnestly working to ensure such a consummate party man as Sir Paul Chukwuma clinches the APC governorship ticket and leads APC to victory in the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State.

KSP!

Paul Chukwuma for Governor!

Signed:
