Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, yesterday intensified his administration’s Private-Public-Community Partnership (PPCP) drive by commissioning a 1.7km road single-handedly constructed by Chief Emma Nwakamma in Achalla, Awka North Local Government Area. While lauding Nwakamma for his patriotic contribution—noting that with 98% of the state's wealth in private hands, such spirit is vital for rapid transformation—the Governor shifted focus to the internal frictions currently destabilizing the ancient kingdom. Addressing a cheering crowd, Soludo expressed gratitude for the overwhelming 73% mandate given to him by the community at the polls, but warned that his administration will no longer remain a bystander to the leadership crisis rocking the area. He emphasized that since development cannot thrive in an atmosphere of chaos, the state government will step in to resolve existing frictions and restore tranquility, ensuring Achalla moves forward as a united family dedicated to the progress of the homeland.
