First of all, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, , knows the truth. Deep down, he knows that his government has failed Nigerians in many important areas.
Look at the situation today.
In education, Nigerians are struggling.
In electricity, the problem remains unsolved.
In infrastructure, many communities still lack good roads and development.
In healthcare, the system is still weak.
In security, kidnappers, bandits, and terrorists continue to terrorize many parts of the country.
These are realities Nigerians are living with every day.
If a government has performed well, it should be able to campaign with its achievements. After several years in office, people should be able to point to clear projects and improvements. But when citizens cannot clearly see those changes in their daily lives, questions will naturally arise.
Instead of relying on results, we now see political campaigns using celebrities and movements like the “City Boys” to persuade people again. But campaigns should not only be about slogans or popularity, they should be about real results that people can see and feel.
If those campaigning for President Tinubu truly want Nigerians to support him again, the best thing they can do is focus on solving real problems.
They should go to the communities suffering from insecurity, places where farmers cannot safely go to their farms because of bandits or terrorists.
They should help bring real solutions: better security, stable electricity, improved schools, good roads, and functioning healthcare.
Those are the things that will convince Nigerians.
Because today, many citizens are not asking for propaganda.
They are asking for results.
People remember promises that were made, especially promises about improving electricity and the economy. Nigerians want to see those promises fulfilled.
At the end of the day, Nigerians are becoming more aware. They are seeing the realities around them, and they want leadership that truly improves their lives.
If any government wants the people’s support again, the answer is simple: deliver real change that Nigerians can see and experience every day.
