I'm open to being second wife — Tiwa Savage

Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has spoken candidly about her dating life, revealing that her current suitors are mostly older men or those already married.

In a recent interview on the American podcast Lip Service, the mother of one explained that she’s at a stage in her life where eligible bachelors are either “in their 50s or taken.”

“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they’re either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know — maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” she said.

The Somebody’s Son crooner added that she wouldn’t pose any problem in a polygamous marriage, saying she would respect the first wife and focus on her career.

“I think I can get along with the first wife. She’s going to love me because I’m not troublesome. I’ll be going on tours, not stressing anybody. I’m very respectful, and I know she’s the first wife, so I’d accord her that respect,” she stated.

Tiwa Savage was previously married to music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TBillz, from 2013 to 2018. The marriage produced one son.

🌍 Why does everything feel the same in 2025?
Technology is faster, trends are louder, yet life almost looks like a loop — same struggles, same promises, same vibes everywhere. Some say the world is evolving, others say we’re just recycling the old in a new package.

👉 Do you think 2025 has really changed anything compared to past years, or are we just living in a cycle?
