Last week, a bride I provided printing services for informed me that she would send someone to collect the materials. The person who arrived was a young man who appeared to be 18 or 19 years old.

I asked him, 'How are you bobo? You're here to collect the materials for Lagbaja, right?' He confirmed, so I handed over the materials and even gave him ₦1,000 for transportation.

The bride posted her wedding photos yesterday, and to my surprise, the young man I thought was 17 was actually the groom, in his early 30s, who collected my my ₦1,000 just like that.

When I wanted to write my first JAMB, I watched over 200 people register before me. I cried. They told me to use sand, chalk, GB, spirit, watermelon and I even had to scrub my hands on a stone at a point and then I was able to register

There were times I could thumb print in but I couldn't thumb print out.

Living without thumb print in Nigeria is terrible. From NYSC, to JAMB to the bank, I've always had to explain myself and sometimes use my feet to thumbprint”
