Every encounter, a fresh witness of His faithfulness.
Last night, January 31st, the Deliberate Christian Circle gathered with one expectation—to pray into the month of February. But God, in His kindness, had something deeper planned.
One grace we never take lightly in this Circle is the tangible presence of God and the sensitivity He gives us to discern His leading. Before we could even begin with opening prayers, the Holy Spirit interrupted our agenda and ushered us into a profound place of thanksgiving.
In that moment, I realised something afresh: I am a spiritual consumable—daily targeted, yet continually preserved by God. Were it not for His mercy, His steadfast love, and His faithfulness, I would not be standing. That realisation alone became worship.
We learnt again the power of deliberate praise. God hears our requests, yes—but praise invites His abiding presence. He inhabits the praises of His people.
Just when we thought the moment had peaked, the Holy Spirit led us into a deeper revelation of God’s mindfulness and tender fatherhood. He drew a comparison between our earthly parenting and God’s perfect love. He asked us—can we tell how many strands of hair are on our children’s heads? Would we even notice if one fell? Then He reminded us that He knows, and that He loves our children even more than we do.
Another question followed: Where is God’s bed? How many yards of cloud does He use as His covering?
Silence filled the room—not from confusion, but from awe.
It became clear again: no one can fully know God, and no one can ever praise Him enough. Even with our last breath, our praise will remain incomplete. Yet still, as joyful debtors of praise, we will keep offering Him worship.
Happy February.
It is blessed—for your sake.
