Some of you think the enemy pushed you out. God actually pulled you out. You did not leave because you failed. You left because you finished.

There are seasons where grace quietly lifts from a place. Nothing dramatic happens, yet peace disappears. What once gave life now drains you. You try harder, pray more, and still feel unsettled. You thought something was wrong with you.

It was not you. It was timing.

God will not allow you to stay where your next assignment cannot grow. So He removes comfort first. Conversations change. Doors close without explanation. Favor shifts. Not punishment, movement.

Joseph was removed before he ruled. David was sent to wilderness before a throne. The disciples left nets before they touched nations. God often subtracts environment before He reveals purpose.

We call it loss because we cannot see what He sees yet.

You kept asking God to restore what He was ending. You kept trying to reopen what He concluded. But grace does not stay where assignment is finished.

You are not wandering. You are being positioned.

Trust the pull. Trust the discomfort. Trust the transition.

God does not empty a place in your life unless He intends to fill another.

The False Weight of a Wrong Title

“The overwhelming majority of churches I’ve ministered in call everyone on staff “pastor.” Pastors’ conferences. Pastor so-and-so. Walk into a church and the first question is always, “Where’s the pastor?” I graduated with a four-year Bible degree from a university that never once mentioned or acknowledged modern-day apostles or prophets. Anyone who traveled and preached was labeled an evangelist. Teachers were reduced to academics and confined to classrooms.

Here’s the problem: when we plant churches, develop ministries, and train leaders through a pastoral-only lens, we make it nearly impossible to establish New Testament churches according to the biblical pattern. That narrow lens breeds suspicion, confusion, and even hostility toward the other four gifts Jesus gave His body (Ephesians 4:11). I cannot count the number of times I’ve preached for men who carry the title “senior pastor” but who, in reality, are apostles. No big deal, right? Wrong.

Misidentifying the grace on their lives sets them up for years of
frustration, turmoil, and often burnout—if they even make it that far. Ignorance, or a theology unwilling to embrace the apostolic ministry, traps them in a role they were never called to fill. And the weight of false expectations—both their own and those imposed by others — eventually crushes them.”

Part of the armor fittings of a believer in Christ is deliberate act of God to design it so, because what makes our faith effectual is our communication of faith everywhere we go. According to God's design for man, we are made in His image and likeness, indicating that we ought to contain God and express Him everywhere we are found, whether to men or to other living things in man's jurisdiction of dominion.

Winter is not just about what dies.
It is about what remains.

When the leaves fall, you finally see the structure of the tree.

Winter exposes the skeleton.

And wilderness does the same thing to your life.

When momentum slows.
When money tightens.
When invitations thin out.
When the excitement fades.

You see clearly.

You see who was assigned.
You see who was seasonal.
You see who loved you.
And who loved access to you.

Wilderness removes the crowd.
Winter removes the camouflage.

Israel thought they were leaving Egypt.
God was revealing what was still inside them.

The wilderness did not just test loyalty to God.
It exposed loyalty to comfort.

Some of you are grieving people who disappeared.

But winter did not take them.
Winter revealed them.

Flaky support cannot survive pressure.
Convenient loyalty cannot survive delay.
Performance friendships cannot survive obscurity.

When there is no spotlight,
only covenant remains.

Jesus had crowds in the miracles.
But at the cross, the crowd thinned.

Wilderness clarifies who carries covenant and who carries curiosity.

Do not resent the reduction.

Reduction is revelation.

God will often shrink your circle before He expands your assignment.

Because you cannot carry apostolic weight
with people who only liked your harvest.

Winter shows you who can survive your silence.
Wilderness shows you who can survive your stretching.

And clarity is a gift.

It hurts.
But it frees you.

Stop chasing the ones who fell off.
Thank God you saw it now and not later.

Winter is not just formation.
It is filtration.

And what remains after winter
is what is strong enough to go into promise with you.

You don’t have a Jezebel problem.
You have a boundaries problem.

Spiritual authority without personal governance is chaos.

Some of you discern manipulation clearly —
but you refuse to enforce what you see.

Discernment without action invites repetition.

If you are called to lead, you must guard access.
Not everyone gets proximity.
Not everyone gets influence.
Not everyone gets your ear.

Draw the line.
And don’t apologize for it.

If this convicted you, it’s not condemnation — it’s alignment.

He’s not famous for miracles. He’s not trending for entertainment.
He’s just one man — crying for a Church that has gone quiet.
He’s the only one still shouting while others have gone silent.
He’s the voice crying in the wilderness of blood and ashes.
He’s the man refusing to let the Church forget the cries of Northern Nigeria.

Every day, Christians are being killed in Northern Nigeria, yet the world scrolls past like nothing is happening.
But there’s one man who refused to be silent.
His name is Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, and this is why his voice matters right now.
While others are protecting titles, he’s protecting truth.
While many are building brands, he’s carrying a burden.
This is not just another pastor — this is a man Heaven is using to shake the nation.
When others chose peace to protect their names, he chose fire to defend his faith.

He said, “If I’m kidnapped, don’t pay ransom.”
That’s not pride. That’s pain turned into prophecy.
That’s a man who already gave his life long before the enemy came for it.

While pastors chase platforms, he’s standing in a war zone.
While others protect influence, he’s protecting souls.
He’s not asking for applause, he’s asking for awakening.

And make no mistake, he’s not just one man.
He’s the sound of every forgotten believer in Plateau, Kaduna, Benue…
He’s the cry of mothers who buried their sons for believing in Christ.
He’s the echo of Heaven asking, “Where is the Church?”

If this generation ever wakes up, history will record that one man refused to bow.
And his name; Ezekiel Dachomo — the pastor who turned pain into purpose,
and silence into a sound that shook the nation.

Nigeria may not see it yet — but Heaven has taken note.
The blood of the saints still speaks.
And this voice… will not be silenced.

Let us keep Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, his family and every Christian in Northern Nigeria 🇳🇬 in our prayers 🙏

Phi 2:7-8 KJV 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

There are different forms needed at different seasons of life,it is wisdom to identify the season where you are in life per time and take in the pain of staying there,a man on a journey with God sometimes will find himself in strange painful situations and places but as long as fulfills the requirements of that season by taking the form and posture required for rising,God will come through and exalt him in due season.

Sometimes, you will suddenly realize that it seems like your life is not in a fast lane, but when you obediently follow through until your obedience is fulfilled, you will come into an eternal covenant. The reward of following God is God, not things. Abraham's reward was not necessarily his son Isaac. God Himself became his reward. ©God's signet 2025
