This is a bride price list in one community in Edo north ,101 tubers of big yams,a bag of rice,2 gallon of palm oil,2 gallon of vegetable oil,8 crate of malt, a basin of big dried catfish, a basin of crayfish,a basin of peel egusi, a basin of pepper, a basin of onion, a basin of bonga fish,a carton of chicken k**r maggi, a gallon of kerosene, 6 loaf of big bread,4 bags of salt,the biggest tin of milk and chocolate,2 packs of sugar, 3 new basin,and kolanut, and some other items ,the cost of this item is close to a million naira. The list is ok 👍,if you are doing well, you have a good job or business,but how about an average young man that just graduated,that is not yet employed but he does minial job ,how can he raise such money,if he decides to marry?This is among the reasons why young men refuse to marry , they rather wait or they go extra lengths to get quick money.may Allah make it easy for them.
