Great Edo people, of course the recent events have left many of us questioning the strength of our great party, the PDP. The defections, the tribunal verdict—these are challenges, but they are not the end of our journey.
Please know this: our fight for justice is far from over. As you know, we have taken our case to the Court of Appeal because we believe in the sanctity of the people's mandate. This is not about Asue Ighodalo, PDP, Osarodion Ogie, Godwin Obaseki or even Monday Okpebholo or any single individual or entity—it is about democracy, about ensuring that our voices are heard, where votes truly count.
Please remain steadfast, hopeful, and committed to the ideals that bind us together. The PDP has always stood for progress, for the people, and for a better Edo. We will not waver, we will not be silenced and we will not be distracted.
Stay peaceful, stay engaged, and most importantly, stay hopeful. The future of Edo belongs to all of us, and together, we will shape it for the better.
