OgaDocument THE SUYA SELLER: Shola And The Missing Three Hundred thousand ( #300,000) Naira.

So there I was, just chilling in the compound this evening, minding my own business, when suddenly this serious-looking woman storms up to arrest my landlady’s son, Shola, the scavenger of the neighborhood.

The woman claimed that two days ago, Shola came into her shop to buy two cups of rice. During that rice transaction, her three hundred thousand (₦300,000) naira meeting contributions mysteriously vanished into thin air.

Just imagine if I had decided to help Shola and Rufus hold onto that money, I would probably be the next suspect to be arrested.

From now on, I’m officially putting a “Do Not Disturb” sign on myself when it comes to these boys in the compound. Because, I don’t want to be caught up in any “rice and missing money” dramas.

Man need to pack out this compound very soon to avoid stories that touch.

OgaDocument THE SUYA SELLER: THE MONEY PROBLEM.

This morning as I was about leaving the house to look for another garage where I can restart my suya business, Rufus the bus driver and Shola the scavenger my landlady's children showed up again.

This time, these two boys came with a bundle of cash. They said, “OgaDocument, we came to refund your five thousand (₦5,000) naira. And please, help us keep three hundred thousand (₦300,000) naira. We don’t want to spend it carelessly.”

My spirit immediately said, “Oga, don’t collect this money.” I told them, “I don’t operate a microfinance bank. Go and keep your money somewhere else.”

But as they were leaving, another voice entered my head:
“OgaDocument… imagine adding that three hundred thousand (₦300,000) naira to your suya business.”

"My mind is urging me to collect the money and invest it in my suya business, but I have concerns about the questionable character of these boys."

My people, after Tijani and his mother practically collected my suya business, I came back from the motor park looking like person wey lost ₦10 million.

I entered my room, removed my slippers and shouted:
“God! Who I offend for this suya business?”

Before I could sit down—
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
I opened the door and saw Rufus and Shola my landlady's children.
I asked: "Una don come again? Na money, wristwatch, or una wan carry my mattress this time?”

Shola quickly said,
“OgaDocument, abeg. We came to apologize.”
I looked at both of them and asked: “So una finally download sense?”

They shouted together:
“YES, OGA.” I accepted their apology.

But something inside me whispered: “OgaDocument, shine your eyes ooo. This apology get hidden agenda.”

Because for this compound, anytime Rufus and Shola suddenly become humble.

OgaDocument THE SUYA SELLER HAS DISCOVERED THE SECRET — PART 4

Tijani’s mother came to my suya stand with a LAWYER carrying one big file like he came to seal up my business.

She said, “OgaDocument, we are here to calculate Tijani’s contribution.”

The lawyer opened the file and said:
“Before Tijani, you sold 40 sticks daily. Now you sell 55. Therefore, Tijani has increased your profit.”

I nearly entered the charcoal.
His mother demanded salary, feeding allowance and 20% company shares.

The lawyer looked at me and said:
“Sir, my advice is simple; start looking for another job.”

My people, I carried my suya kn , sprinkled water on the charcoal and left MY OWN BUSINESS.

Yesterday: OgaDocument, CEO.
Today: OgaDocument, job seeker.

OgaDocument THE SUYA SELLER HAS DISCOVERED THE SECRET TO HIS SUYA BUSINESS.— PART 3.

I almost closed my suya stand permanently this morning and start selling yam.

Tijani’s mother came to carry her 4-year-old son. But before she could leave, customers started shouting: "Oga; Give me 10 sticks, give me 15 sticks".

His mother looked at me, looked at Tijani, then looked at my money box.
“OgaDocument, what exactly is happening here?”

I said, “Madam, nothing ooo, He's just eating suya.” She looked at his empty plate and shouted: “WAIT; Na my son dey bring all these customers?”

Before I could explain, she carried Tijani and declared: "From today, my son is no longer eating suya for free. If he is the secret of your business, we are now business partners.”

My people, I nearly fell on top my suya stand; that was how a 4-year-old boy became a shareholder in OgaDocument Suya Industries Ltd.

I’m now afraid. Tomorrow, this woman may come with a lawyer demanding 50% of my suya.

OgaDocument THE SUYA SELLER HAS DISCOVERED THE SECRET TO HIS SUYA BUSINESS.— PART 2.

After yesterday’s strange discovery, I decided to conduct another experiment.
This morning, I called Tijani, my 4-year-old suya partner, and gave him five pieces of suya.

My people, before he finished the third piece, customers started rushing my stand from every direction.
One traveler shouted; "Oga give me 10 sticks.”

Tijani was sitting there quietly, chewing suya not knowing he had just turned my roadside business into OgaDocument Suya Industries Ltd.

That was when I knew the truth; Tijani is the secret. But there is one problem.
If I make him my Manager, his mother will collect his salary. If I make him Managing Director, she will collect his bonus

So I have decided to keep things simple;
Tijani will remain my 4-year-old suya partner. His salary is five pieces of suya per day. Case close.
