A Tribute to the Late IGP Solomon Arase:
It is with profound sadness that I received the news of the passing of my dear brother and friend, IGP Solomon Arase. Our friendship, which was introduced by the late General Solo Giwa Amu during my tenure as Deputy Governor of Edo State, blossomed into a lifelong bond. Solomon was more than just a friend; he was a true brother, always available and ready to lend a helping hand in both official and personal matters.
As a true professional, Solomon Arase left an indelible mark on Nigeria's law enforcement landscape. His dedication, expertise, and commitment to duty earned him a reputation as one of Nigeria's finest. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
Edo State and Nigeria have indeed lost a great son, a stalwart whose contributions will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to his beloved wife, Arese, his children, and the entire family, particularly the people of Ora and Bini. May God grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss and console their hearts during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, dear Solo. Your memory will forever be etched in our minds, and your legacy will live on. Your passing has come as a shock to many, and your absence will be deeply felt. May your soul find eternal rest.
