United Nigeria Airlines confirmed that there was an altercation between “Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan, VDM)” and “Freedom Atsepoyi (Mr Jollof)” during boarding.

The flight was UN0523, boarding at Asaba International Airport, both VDM & Mr Jollof were deboarded (i.e., removed from the flight) quickly to ensure safety of others.

Immediately they were handed over to airport security for investigation.

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is involved, they described the behaviour as unacceptable and have said both men will face the full weight of the law.

According to reports, NCAA is preparing to sanction them, VDM later posted a video saying that he “confronted” Mr Jollof on the plane, he says he told Mr Jollof, “Today, you will slap me.”

In his recounting, Mr Jollof allegedly punched him first and then bit him on the chest, damaging his tattoo, VDM showed bite marks on his torso in the video.

Many people on social media / netizens are criticizing both of them, calling the behavior embarrassing, some are demanding serious consequences, especially because this was in an airplane.✈️
