According to report gathered by CurrentNewsTV, the man representing Badagry Federal Constituency, Hon sesi Whingan has chose to continue to trail the blaze of leadership deliverables, this he begins as he champions the training of 1000 young people in Badagry to the tech world .
The young honourable, known for his innovative and consistency in optimalsing political leadership deliverables has taken the course to another realm entirely, by the launch of the program "Badagry 1000 TTP" for young people in his federal constituency.

This is seen as per the press statement released by his media crew which read in part as thus;
– Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, Member of the House of Representatives for Badagry Federal Constituency, has officially commenced the training for the first cohort of his landmark "Badagry 1000 Tech Talents Project" (Badagry 1000TTP), an initiative designed to equip 1,000 young people in Badagry with vital digital skills. Yesterday, 6th November, 2024, 200 young participants gathered at KemmySam School in Aradagun, Olorunda LCDA, to begin a four-week intensive training course aimed at transforming them into skilled digital professionals.
The Badagry 1000TTP, Hon. Whingan’s latest youth development project, seeks to train youths in the areas of Web Development, Product Management, Data Analysis, and Project Management. The initiative is being delivered in partnership with Codeverse Africa, a reputable tech training organization, to ensure the program maintains high-quality standards and practical relevance.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Hon. Whingan, represented by Mrs. Bukola Agemo, a member of the technical committee of Badagry 1000TTP, emphasized the importance of equipping young people with digital skills in today’s economy. "This program represents a crucial investment in the future of Badagry’s youth, empowering them to secure competitive roles in the technology industry. Through this training, we are not only shaping individual futures but also contributing to Badagry's long-term socioeconomic development," he said.
Participants were drawn from the three councils in Badagry Federal Constituency—Badagry Local Government, Olorunda LCDA, and Badagry West LCDA. Each participant is expected to receive hands-on training that combines theory with practical experience, focusing on real-world applications of digital skills.
The training will run intensively over the next four weeks, ensuring that participants receive a solid foundation in their chosen field. As the program progresses, it is expected to empower the youth with the skills needed to pursue careers in technology, thereby increasing their employability and entrepreneurial potential.
The Badagry 1000TTP is an integral part of Hon. Whingan's broader vision to create a tech-enabled future for Badagry. With this initiative, he hopes to drive digital transformation across the constituency, unlocking new economic opportunities for local youths and positioning Badagry as a rising hub for tech talent in Lagos State.
