ALONE WITH JESUS: COME LET'S WORSHIP AND BOW DOWN!
_A Devotional Thought_

THEME
_Worship isn’t just a suggestion; it’s a heartfelt invitation. "O COME" — not just go. "LET US" — not just me by myself. "WORSHIP AND BOW DOWN" — not stand around and debate. When you bow, God rises. Worship is truly a way of life!_
KEY SCRIPTURE READINGS
_“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” — Psalm 95:6_
_“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24_
_“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow...” — Philippians 2:10_
_“Come unto me, all ye that labour... and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28_
DEVOTIONAL INTRODUCTORY INSIGHTS
Dearly Beloved,
This beautiful, sacred Sabbath morning, as I found myself alone with Jesus, I felt a powerful call — not a mere whisper, but a strong invitation: _COME LET'S WORSHIP AND BOW DOWN!_
It’s not about coming together to discuss. It’s not about complaining or checking the clock. No! Absolutely not!
COME LET'S WORSHIP GOD AND BOW DOWN BEFORE JEHOVAH!
Worship is about recognizing worth — WORTH-SHIP. To bow down is to surrender — acknowledging that I am not worthy, but You are!
Kneeling before our Maker is essential because if He created you, He knows exactly how to mend you.
God doesn’t need your worship; you need to worship. When you humble yourself, He lifts you up high.
DEEPER LESSONS: COME, LET'S WORSHIP AND BOW DOWN!
1. IT'S A CALL TO COME — NOT TO STAY AWAY:
_“O come, let us worship and bow down...” — Psalm 95:6_
_Daily lesson:_ God never tells a worshipper to "go away." Instead, He invites us with open arms, saying, "O come." Bring your sins, your shame, and even your inconvenient moments. Just come and bow before the Throne of Mercy!
> _Ellen G. White_: “God invites us to come and worship Him in humility.” — _Steps to Christ, p. 21_
> _Ellen G. White_: “The call to worship is a call to come near to God.” — _Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 317_
2. WORSHIP MUST BE IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH:
_“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24_
_Daily lesson:_ Worship isn’t about going through the motions or making noise without meaning. It’s about being connected in spirit and sincere in truth. It’s an earnest and heartfelt service of love to our Maker and King!
> _Ellen G. White_: “True worship comes from the heart, in spirit and truth.” — _The Desire of Ages, p. 189_
> _Ellen G. White_: “Worship in spirit and truth is acceptable to God.” — _Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 298_
3. EVERY KNEE WILL BOW — BETTER TO BOW NOW IN LOVE:
_“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow...” — Philippians 2:10_
_Daily lesson:_ One day, every knee will bow — whether willingly or not. The wise choose to bow now in love, rather than later in judgment. Worship means humbling ourselves, not for self-glorification, but to reflect God’s glory through our self-sacrifice.
> _Ellen G. White_: “Every knee will bow before Christ, in heaven and earth.” — _The Great Controversy, p. 671_
> _Ellen G. White_: “To bow to Jesus now is salvation; then it will be judgment.” — _Early Writings, p. 52_
4. COME AND FIND REST WHEN YOU BOW:
_“Come unto me, all ye that labour... and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28_
_Daily lesson:_ When you bow in worship, you rise refreshed. The Creator who fashioned you knows just how to heal you. The rest He offers is beautifully wrapped in the observance of the Sabbath and the reverence for the Lawgiver.
> _Ellen G. White_: “When we come and bow before Him, we find rest for our souls.” — _Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 15_
> _Ellen G. White_: “In worship, we find peace and renewal.” — _Ministry of Healing, p. 253_
PRAYER
Dearest Heavenly Father,
The Great I AM THAT I AM, My Maker, and the One Who Deserves My Worship!
Here I am — I come. I worship. I bow down. I kneel before You, my Creator.
Not just in the body, but in spirit and in truth.
At the Name of Jesus, I bow — willingly, joyfully, and lovingly.
Grant me rest as I worship You on this Holy Sabbath.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
