As a way out getting out of my regulars,l tried my hands on weaving this manual, industrial sieve. Yes,you got me right: l weaved this sieve...Those in cassava value chain will readily identify it..the gari processors precisely! You see.. everyone living soul has this innate skill of which not quite a few allow to rust and perish for one nebulous reason or the other. Let me put it this way. If l decide to put my tie and suit by one side and decide to make a living weaving this sieve for sale, the challenge l will face will start right within my house: Side, mocking glances will begin!. Daddy,l hope everything is ok?! Et al. They can't understand that for me to come with that just by looking at one being used by a neighbor, without any training or apprenticeship, l do have a skill that if properly horn could become a money- making one...And this was a big minus in our educational system then, which l think successive governments have been trying to correct. Our educational system was geared towards working in offices-private and public, paying negligible attention to hands work, skill development and acquisition.
The introduction of STEM, Technical and Vocational Education will definitely be a game changer ; if given adequate attention and funding. Many have lost their ways professionally, because of the deeply ingrained tie and suit mentality. Everybody wants to be a lawyer, doctor, banker. Learning Technical and hands work are reserved for the academically deficient and dropouts. We forgot that our everyday living conveniences are products of STEM, technical and Vocational efforts.
If you have a varsity degree and also possees valuable skills, that can make significant impact in the society; Your qualification, should not be the killer or undertaker of your innate skills, in whatever way! It should rather be the bedrock or catalyst for your expression: a well research presentation by an educated mind compared to one by a secondary school dropout.Good money 💰

*TAKE* *TIME* *OUT* *TO* *RELAX*

This is weekend. You are not a machine. Only sound minds and healthy beings run businesses. Take time out to chiiiiillll. Apart from attending parties ,consider these five other ways to release tension .

Here are five best ways for busy entrepreneurs to relax:
1.Meditation and Deep Breathing: Take a few minutes each day to practice mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, or guided relaxation techniques. This can help reduce stress and increase focus.

2.Physical Activity: Engage in physical activities like yoga, jogging, or walking. Exercise can help release endorphins, which improve mood and reduce stress.

3.Hobbies and Creative Pursuits: Make time for activities you enjoy, such as painting, playing music, or reading. This can help distract from work-related stress and provide a sense of fulfillment.

4.Social Connections: Spend quality time with family and friends, or connect with fellow entrepreneurs who understand the challenges you're facing. Social support can help alleviate stress and provide new perspectives.

5.Digital Detox: Take breaks from technology and social media to reduce the constant stream of information and notifications. This can help you recharge and focus on what's important.

By incorporating these relaxation techniques into your busy schedule, you can improve your overall well-being and maintain the energy and focus needed to drive your entrepreneurial ventures forward.

Good morning (not money, this time around).Do have a lovely weekend.

WHO TAKE OVER THE BATON? (1)
Rethinking Business Succession plan

It is the dream of every Entrepreneur to build a business that thrives and lives after the founder. But whose responsibility is it to ensure this dream comes into fulfilment? Unless and of course you are in business to earn a decent living, take care of your bills and family responsibilities, without an eye for the future of the business, this may not really bother you. But for a big dreamer, this may be a serious issue. But then, some ideas that started like child play could actually leap beyond the dream and expectations of the original founder like that of John Pemberton, who mixed some concoction in his kitchen, poured it into a jug, took it to a chemist in front of his house, put up a small banner in the frontage: "Come in and experience a new refreshing soda drink", dispensed with a cup for 5 cent; thus birthing the world famous Coca-Cola in USA. Coke is now in over 200 countries worldwide. Very few people knew the origin and founder of this drink and the business has survived 2 world wars, generation upon generation, epidemics, plague and so many man made and natural challenges. So, what has happened to our Lisabi Mills- Pioneer local food processor that could have rivalled Nestle Food? Wemy Industries- Pioneer local producer of sanitary towels, Odutola Group? Alhaji Razak Okoya and his popular Eleganza Brand is currently in the eyes of the storm. He has blown the whistle for the commencement of the succession battle. What type of business are you building and what are your succession plans? This article looks at what works and what may not work so as to be rightly guided. More later.

Let's go Vocational this weekend.
You are never to old to submit to learning even from your child or children age mates. You become a dinosaur -extinct,outdated- the day you stop learning.
Do you have a skill that needs to be horned or fancy a skill and you believe learning it is beyond your level- a 8-5 beat graduate with tie and suits 😂 and one tokunbo car? My friend, stop deceiving yourself. That may be your life meal ticket when you are retired. The earlier you start the better.
Use your weekend and spare time to acquire new knowledge and skill and you will be better for it Catering, baking, beading, sewing, molding, teaching ...Any skill can be monetized.. Get going buddy..
