🚨BREAKING NEWS!.. Nigerian record label owner Don Jazzy has just signed talented fast-rising Afro-fusion star YXNG BOBBY to Mavins Records! 🎊

Don Jazzy linked up with Yxng Bobby a few years ago, and after discovering his potential, he decided to keep an eye on the superstar until 2024 when the young star dropped a massive hit record titled "B.B.L." They signed a 360 deal which will last for a period of 10 years.


Wait, before congratulating the young star, we want to inform you that this information is not entirely true. While YXNG Bobby is indeed very talented and has been approached by Don Jazzy in the past after his viral freestyles and songs which he has been dropping since he was 12, they discussed the possibilities of him signing a record deal with Mavins. At that point, Don Jazzy had already signed artists under the label to cover the next 5 years. Don Baba advised Bobby to wait, but the young star has decided to pave his own path and is consistently building an audience for himself with his talent.

His latest song, "B.B.L.", caught the attention of several top Nigerian celebrities, including MC Mbakara, and the young star is already planning to release another song on the 11th of April.

Sugarboy and Kizz Daniel was in the same record label backdays (G-Worldwide). Unfortunately, Kizz Daniel leave the record label and start his career fresh with a change of name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel and became a boss of his own label 'Flyboy Inc'.

Sugarboy had his first major breakthrough on DJ Shabsy's song "Raba" featuring Kiss Daniel and released on 23 July 2015.

The following year, he released "Hola Hola" on 16 January 2016, as the lead single off his debut album Believe, released on 22 April 2017, through G-Worldwide.

During 2018, the trending of sugarboy music stop, no active fans base again with low stream's count on his song's.

Unfortunately 'sugarboy' would have be in the same level with Kizz Daniel but no way.

One of the things, i notice about his musical journey (Sugarboy songs are amazing but no good PR and sometimes, he use one pattern of similar vibes).

- Wizkid via Instagram firmly states that he refuses to be labeled as an Afrobeats artist; he distances himself from such categorizations. He even goes as far as urging those who enjoy Afrobeats not to download his forthcoming album!

Burna Boy also declared that he shouldn't be grouped under the Afrobeats umbrella and described the current state of genre as a genre that lacks substance.

Blaqbonez shares similar disappointment in its recent quality, stating that Afrobeats sounds like A$$ss lately.
