This "I AM A CHOSEN " slang really worked for me today.
We were in the bus going to Akure in Ondo state, when our driver started complaining of fuel shortage in his bus tank.
Virtually, everyone in the bus became angry with him, especially, those whose journey has already been delayed due to much wasted time in the motor park because of scarcity of passengers. Driver, you can't do this to me nah! I don go late already and you wan still delay me again for filling station...out of frustration,i shouted from the back seat were I was sitting.
Suddenly, he drove into one filling station to queue up for his turn, and one tinted Toyota Venza car just drove past him a bit and blocked his space. As the Venza driver came down, asking our bus driver to reverse because the he wants to buy fuel. Na so I shouted from my little corner... "Hey! Mr man, you can try that nonsense with me here, carry your Akpuruka Venza comot for road"
Lo and behold, na soldier Oga with his boys dey inside that motor. One of them quietly came down and asked our driver, who said that and ALL Eyes were ON ME. I now remembered that something wey dey look red red dey for atmosphere.
Mr man, who are you? The solider asked as his colleague was coming down from thier vehicle with koboko.
I replied him, officer "I AM A CHOSEN". I almost asked him "WHO ARE You"? but something in me asked me to keep quiet.
Okay, you're a Chosen? I said yes, come down my friend! Na so I came down from the bus and he asked me, which region do you worship? I told Oshodi Isolo express way Lagos state and said you are my Christian brother from the same region . He then ordered our driver to refund me my money and I should be on the front seat instead of my former position and bought fuel and continued our journey
Please, incase you slapped a soldier by mistake, just declare... I AM A CHOSEN. I pray God grants you mercy.
