Last week, the entire land of Jama'are Emirate Council was agog with celebrations, as the Executive Governor Of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed presented Staff of office to the 10th Emir of Jama'are, Nuhu Ahmed Wabi
Wabi, who is one of the sons of the late Emir, was appointed following the death on Sunday, 6th February 2020 of his father, Ahmadu Muhammadu Wabi III, who reigned for 50 years,
His ascendance to the throne marked the beginning of a new dawn, as his appointment was celebrated from far and near by notable personalities, including a UK based University Don and traditional title holder of Wazirin Jama’are in Jama’are Emirate council of Bauchi state, Dr Kassim Gidado.
In his Goodwill messages, the Wazirin Jama’are, Dr Kassim Gidado, described his emergence as an affirmation of his strength of character, integrity and moral authority garnered over the years as an erudite administrator.
Dr Gidado said his official enthronement marked the beginning of a huge responsibility to seek the face of Allah with honesty and sincerity of heart, to enable him to lead his people with wisdom, and the fear of Allah, as His faithful servant. He furthe said the ascension of the traditional duties also comes with many challenges and the ability to resolve them “which is why it is necessary to surrender the stool to Allah. It is my prayer that Allah grant you excellent health, prosperity and many more years to continue in your immeasurable service to the people of Jama'are Emirate Council, Bauchi State and the Nation at large,”
