Bauchi State First Lady Graces the Bauchi Investment Summit 1.0
The First Lady of Bauchi State, Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniyar Bauchi), attended the historic Bauchi Investment Summit 1.0 held at the Bauchi International Conference Centre. This marked the first-ever investment summit organized in the state, attracting investors, business leaders, diplomats, and top government officials from across Nigeria and beyond.
The First Lady participated in key sessions of the summit and visited various exhibition stands where entrepreneurs and companies showcased their products. During the visit, she purchased several items from business partners to encourage and support local entrepreneurs, especially women and youth striving for self-reliance.
Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed demonstrated her unwavering commitment to economic growth and women’s empowerment through the impactful initiatives of the Al-Muhibbah Foundation.
The summit, themed “Rebuilding a Resilient Economy: Optimizing Investment and Partnership,” reflected Governor Bala Mohammed’s visionary My Bauchi Project, which aims to attract sustainable investments and position Bauchi as a hub for economic opportunities.
The event was graced by distinguished guests including His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III; former President Olusegun Obasanjo; former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan; and the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, all of whom commended the Governor’s leadership and vision for economic transformation.
