It's Time for Real Leadership: Vote ABACON for Better Representation

Bida, Gbako, and Katcha Federal Constituency, the time has come for us to ask ourselves one honest question: Where are we headed as a people?

For too long, our constituency has been run with mediocrity, lies, and propaganda.
The current leadership only remembers the people when elections are near — distributing outdated motorcycles, token gifts, and empty promises to buy consciences and votes, instead of building lives.

We deserve better.
Our youths deserve better.
Our mothers, farmers, graduates, widows, and business owners deserve better.

ASUU IBBUL ISSUES 14-DAY ULTIMATUM TO NIGER GOVT, VARSITY MANAGEMENT

The Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities has issued a 14-day ultimatum to both the Niger State Government and the university management.

The union is demanding the immediate implementation of the 2025 Federal Government/ASUU Agreement.
This was the resolution reached at an emergency congress held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the university auditorium in Lapai.

In a letter signed by the Chapter Chairman, Dr. Galadima A. Bala, and Assistant Secretary, Dr. Abdullahi Mohammed, ASUU IBBUL said it was dissatisfied with the continued delay in implementing the agreement.
