I write with deep excitement and pride to commend your bold and timely intervention on the floor of the House. Your recent motion of urgent public importance concerning the deplorable condition of our roads is not only commendable but a clear demonstration of what is expected from a true parliamentarian.
It is quite regrettable that the Odukpani–Awi flank—where a state university is located—has deteriorated into a state of disrepair, with numerous vehicles being damaged daily. This situation poses a serious security threat to students and others around the school environment. I must also commend the Cross River State Government for its remedial interventions in some affected spots.
The Calabar–Akamkpa–Biase axis of the federal highway has become nearly impassable, causing untold hardship to commuters and our people. Your voice on this matter has echoed loudly and clearly, showing your unwavering commitment to the welfare of your constituents and the development of Cross River State.
We are indeed proud to have you as our representative. Your courage, leadership, and passion for service are truly inspiring. Rest assured that your support base remains stronger than ever.
