The pursuit of greatness, we often roam
Searching for a shortcut, a path to call home
But success is a journey, not a destination fast
It's the sum of small steps, taken with patience at last

The overnight sensation, a myth to dispel
For behind every triumph, lies a story to tell
Of trials and tribulations, of sweat and of tears
Of perseverance and grit, through all the passing years

There's no elevator to the top, only stairs
Each step a challenge, each step a test of cares
But with every step forward, we grow and we learn
And though the journey's long, our spirit starts to yearn

For the prize is not just the destination, but the ride
The lessons learned, the wisdom gained, the heart full of pride
So let's not seek shortcuts, but instead take the wheel
And drive our journey forward, with passion, with zeal

~ `LECTURE FREE WEEK FOR ALL STUDENTS` ~

The Students' Union Government of the University of Calabar, led by President Comr. Blessing Alims, warmly invites students, faculty, staff, press, and the general public to the highly anticipated UNICAL Students' Week.

Dates: Monday, 13th Jan - Sunday 19th 2025. This exciting week will feature a variety of activities, including live performances, competitions, workshops, and entertainment events, all designed to engage and inspire participants. ~ `Officially Unveils & Launches SUG UNICAL Complaint Form` ~

The Office of the Executive President, Students Union Government, University of Calabar, under the leadership of Comr. Blessing Alims, has unveiled and launched a complaint form for students who are on suspension and expulsion.

This initiative is part of the SUG's efforts to ensure that students' rights are protected and that they receive fair treatment from the university administration. The complaint form provides a platform for students to report any grievances or unfair treatment they may have received, leading to their suspension or expulsion.

According to Comr. Blessing Alims, "The Students Union Government is committed to ensuring that the rights of all students are protected. We believe that every student deserves a fair hearing, and this complaint form is a step in that direction."
