Does my lifestyle reveal God’s character?
Even when we fail, God can restore His image in us through Christ.
Supporting Scriptures
Ephesians 4:24
“Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men…”
3. You Must Honor the Image of God in Others
Every human being bears God’s image. Therefore, the way we treat others matters greatly to God.
Hatred, racism, mockery, gossip, abuse, oppression, and discrimination dishonor what God has created.
You cannot truly claim to love God while despising His image in another person.
Whether rich or poor, educated or uneducated, strong or weak—every person deserves dignity and respect because they are made in God’s image.
Look around you today:
The neglected
The misunderstood
The difficult people
Those different from you
They still carry the image of God.
Supporting Scriptures
James 3:9
“With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.”
1 John 4:20
“Whoever does not love their brother and sister… cannot love God.”
Conclusion
Being created in God’s image teaches us three powerful truths:
* You are valuable because God created you.
* You are called to reflect God’s character daily.
* You must honor God by respecting others.
Never forget who you are. You are not an accident, forgotten, or worthless. You were intentionally created in the image of God for His glory.
Live each day empowered by this truth.

THE WORD

SPEAKER : ELDER E. S. BASSEY
INTERPRETER : BRO MICHEAL OROK
TOPIC : WE ARE THE IMAGE OF GOD
TEXT : GENESIS 1 VS 27

"We Are the Image of God "
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
INTRODUCTION
In a world where people often measure worth by possessions, appearance, status, or achievements, God gives us a completely different perspective from the very beginning of creation. He declares: “You bear My image.”
This powerful truth changes how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we live daily. Every human being carries divine value because we are created in the image of God.
1. You Have Dignity Because You Are Made by God
Genesis 1:27 reveals that humanity is uniquely created by God. The heavens, animals, seas, and trees are marvelous creations, yet only human beings were made in God’s image.
Your value is not determined by:
Your appearance
Your background
Your academic success
Your financial status
People’s opinions about you
Your worth comes from the fact that God intentionally created you in His likeness.
Whenever you feel rejected, insignificant, or unnoticed, remember this truth: the King of the universe placed His image upon you. Therefore, walk with confidence—not in pride, but in the assurance of who you are in God.

Supporting Scriptures
Psalm 139:14
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Isaiah 43:4
“Since thou was precious in my sight… I have loved thee.”

2. You Are Called to Reflect God’s Character.
Being created in God’s image means we are meant to reflect His nature and character. God is:
Loving
Holy
Merciful
Just
Faithful
Truthful
As believers, our lives should reveal these qualities to the world around us.
People should see God through:
Our love
Our forgiveness
Our honesty
Our compassion
Our humility
Our kindness
Ask yourself today:
What am I reflecting in my home?
What do people see in my workplace or school?

TOPIC : IT'S WELL WITH THE RIGHTEOUS

TEXT: ISAIAH 3:10

INTRODUCTION
In a world where bad news spreads faster than good news, God provided us with a powerful message in Isaiah 3:10. He declared, “Say ye to the righteous…”_—an announcement, a divine press release. *It shall be well with the righteous.*

WHO IS THE RIGHTEOUS?
First, let’s clarify: being righteous doesn’t mean never making mistakes. Romans 3:22 explains that righteousness comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

The righteous are:
- Those who have accepted Christ.
- Those who repent quickly and rise again.

WHAT DOES ‘IT IS WELL’ ENTAIL?
The verse concludes with - “for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”— This signifies that our labor is not in vain. The business you started, the seed you sowed, the prayer you prayed—fruit is on its way. Galatians 6:9.
*Your peace is assured.* Isaiah 26:3 promises He keeps in perfect peace those whose minds stay on Him.
*Your outcome is secured.* Psalm 37:37 says, "Mark the perfect man… for the end of that man is peace.”_

Even through hardships, the outcome is _well._
Stop replaying your problems. Begin declaring your prophecy. *Say it: It is well with me.*

SOME PROMISES THAT BACK UP ‘IT IS WELL’

1. PROMISE OF REWARD: You will enjoy the results of your efforts.
- _“For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”_

2. PROMISE OF PEACE: Your outcome is secured.
- *Psalm 37:37:* _“Mark the perfect man… for the end of that man is peace.”_

3. PROMISE OF PRESERVATION: God keeps you safe.
- *Psalm 121:7:* _“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil.”_

CONCLUSION
Isaiah 3:11 warns, _“Woe unto the wicked! It shall be ill with him.”_ There are only two camps: the righteous and the wicked. Righteousness brings well-being; wickedness leads to trouble. Embrace Jesus, and it shall be well with you.

THE WORD

SPEAKER : PASTOR M. J. UDOH
INTERPRETER : ELDER P. N . AKWA
TOPIC : DIVINE RE-DIRECTION
TEXT : Acts 9 vs 4 - 5 ;7 - 9

To fully embrace the concept of divine redirection, we must cultivate a heart of surrender and trust. This involves letting go of our own plans and desires, and instead, seeking God’s will for our lives. As we align ourselves with His purpose, we open ourselves up to the blessings and opportunities that He has prepared for us. It is through this surrender that we find peace, joy, and fulfillment, even in the midst of uncertainty.

In the tapestry of our lives, there will be moments when we feel rejected and discouraged. However, by shifting our perspective and embracing the truth of divine redirection, we can find hope and comfort in knowing that God’s plans for us are always for our ultimate good. Let us trust in His guidance, knowing that every closed door is an opportunity for Him to lead us to something even better. Embrace the journey, for in the hands of our loving Heavenly Father, there is always a better plan waiting to unfold.
One of the most challenging aspects of divine redirection is accepting that it often comes with divine timing. Ecclesiastes 3:11 beautifully captures this truth: “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” God’s timing is impeccable, aligning perfectly with His purpose for our lives. What may seem like a delay or a setback is often a period of preparation, growth, and refinement. When we trust in His timing, we can rest assured that what lies ahead is worth waiting for.
