NO MAN IS GOD, AND NO ONE KNOW WHAT TOMORROW HOLDS

This man above, is DCOP Abdul-Osman Razak.
He was the ADC to the then Vice President, in the days and first term of
His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, the current President of Ghana.

When H. E. John Dramani Mahama lost election into second term in office in 2016, as an active police officer, the man went back to the Ghana Police Service.

For 8 years that H. E. John Mahama was in opposition, the man was denied promotion just because of his association with the then President.

Upon the swearing in of H. E. John Dramani Mahama just about two weeks ago, the man who never saw promotion for 8 years, was hurriedly elevated to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police, a step below an IGP.

As fate would have it, the man who was suppressed by successive IGPs, including Dr. Dampare, has now been appointed the National Security Coordinator, a position higher and above the IGP and the man who refused to promote him will now have to be reporting to him daily during national security briefings.

Do good to all manner of persons.

And stop telling people, "who are you, "do you know who I am", if it favours you today because tomorrow is a secret only known by God.

Stop being happy because of others never 🖕🏽 🖕🏽 The goal will always be to live in pursuit of happiness! ♥

🚨 Mark your calendars, skygazers! Here are the details of the eclipses in 2025 👇🏻

1. The year begins with a Blood Moon Eclipse on March 14. A Blood Moon Eclipse is one of the most captivating celestial events. This phenomenon occurs during a total lunar eclipse, when the Earth aligns perfectly between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow over the lunar surface.

This total lunar eclipse will last 3 hours and 38 minutes, starting at 1:09 AM EDT, with the Blood Moon phase lasting for 1 hour and 5 minutes, beginning at 2:36 AM EDT. It will be visible from the Americas, Antarctica, Alaska, northeastern Russia, and parts of Africa.

2. Following the March 14 total lunar eclipse, a partial solar eclipse will occur on March 29. During this event, the Moon will cover up to 93% of the Sun at its peak. The eclipse will last nearly four hours, starting at 4:51 AM EDT, and will be visible from parts of the Americas, western Russia, Europe, and Africa.

3. The third eclipse will be once again a total lunar eclipse on September 7. Visible from Asia, Russia, parts of Africa, Oceania, and Europe, it will last for three and a half hours, beginning at 4:27 PM GMT. This eclipse happens just days after the Moon reaches perigee—its closest point to Earth—making the Moon appear slightly larger in the sky. The total phase of the eclipse will last 1 hour and 22 minutes, longer than the March Blood Moon.

4. The year concludes with a partial solar eclipse on September 21, visible from parts of Antarctica and Oceania. In the Southern Hemisphere, up to 79% of the solar disk will be covered by the Moon.

Happy eclipse watching! 🧡

The Nigerian Army has reportedly dismissed 6 soldiers from its service for allegedly fleeing from the scene of a Boko Haram att@ck.

SaharaReporters reports that the soldiers attached to the counterinsurgency operation in the North-East, known as Operation Lafiya Dole were said to have fled from the scene of a Boko Haram att@ck around Damboa, a community in Borno during the month.

It was gathered that over 10 soldiers were k+lled during the att@ck. A military source who spoke to SaharaReporters said the 6 soldiers were dismissed for withdrawing from the w@r front.

The source described the puni$hment meted out on his colleagues as not right, arguing that they left the battlefield after running out of ammunition during the fi¥ht with the t£rrorists.

According to the source, sufficient arms & ammunition were not provided for them to fi¥ht Boko Haram t£rrorists; therefore, they soon ran out of ammunition. He also blamed the death of those k+lled on poor firepower & inadequate equipment to combat the insurgents.

BETTA EDU; THE CONTINUITY OF THE PRESIDENT’S COURAGE

I remember the days of President Buhari when Nigerians bemoaned the President’s inability or lack of courage to sack anyone, especially those accused of corruption in his administration. So, it was some breathe of fresh air when President Tinubu acted decisively in suspending Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, on allegations of corruption in the ministry.

Nigerians hailed Tinubu, as some will argue, rightly so, for being courageous in suspending the minister pending investigation into the allegations of corruption. However, this is four months since Dr Betta Edu was suspended, what’s going on?

If the investigations have been concluded and Dr Edu has been cleared of any wrongdoing, as it is being speculated in some quarters, why has this not been publicly disclosed? Why has she not been reinstated?

We have all seen several documents online pointing to the fact that any or every action she took, subject of the investigation, was approved by the Villa. If this is the case, the courageous president who suspended her must find that same courage to clear her of any wrongdoing.

There must be continuity in the President’s courage. It takes courage to suspend your minister, it takes courage to investigate her, it takes courage to prosecute her if she is culpable, it takes courage to declare that the investigation has found nothing wrong with her actions as minister and it takes courage to reinstate her.

If nothing is done, just as nothing is being done, then it will not be farfetched to conclude that what happened to Dr Betta Edu is political yahoo yahoo. She might just be a casualty of the A*o Rock game of thrones. But, if she could be a causality in this deadly game of thrones, scripted as it were, then the President is also a victim.

Silence is an act of cowardice where words are needed.
