APC Reps aspirant demands review of Doma/Awe/Keana primary, alleges irregularities

An aspirant for the House of Representatives ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Doma/Awe/Keana Federal Constituency, Mahasin Usman Attah, has called for a comprehensive review of the party’s primary election, alleging serious irregularities in the conduct of the exercise.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Ms Attah expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of the primary election that produced Yakubu Dalhatu Araf as the APC candidate for the constituency.

An gudanar da taron tunawa da cikar shekaru 37 da rasuwar Imam Khomeini, wanda ya kafa Jamhuriyar Musulunci ta Iran, a ranar Alhamis a harabar makabartarsa da ke kudancin birnin Tehran. Manyan jami’an gwamnati da dubban mutane daga sassa daban-daban na ƙasar sun halarci taron.

Masu makoki sun fara gudanar da addu’o’i tare da nuna girmamawa ga Imam Khomeini da kuma Shahidin Jagoran Juyin Juya Halin Musulunci, Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. Haka kuma sun rika ɗaga taken nuna biyayya ga Jagoran Iran na yanzu, Ayatullah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.

Taron ya samu halartar Sayyid Hassan Khomeini, jikan marigayi Imam Khomeini, da kuma shugaban bangaren shari’a na Iran, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei.

Ana sa ran taron zai kunshi jawabi daga jikan Imam Khomeini, tare da karanta rubutacciyar saƙo daga Jagoran Juyin Juya Halin Musulunci.

Imam Khomeini shi ne ya jagoranci Juyin Juya Halin Musulunci na shekarar 1979 wanda ya haifar da kafuwar Jamhuriyar Musulunci ta Iran. Ya rasu ne a ranar 3 ga Yuni, 1989.

The peace and development initiatives of Governor Abdullahi Sule has received a boost as a delegation of international peace and development experts from Colombia to visit Nasarawa State soon.
..to deliver lectures on peace and conflicts resolution in Lafia the State Capital.

This was the hallmark of a joint meeting between Nasarawa State government, Colombia and the office of the National Security Adviser held in Abuja Wednesday.

The meeting which discussed peace, the Colombian Experience provided an opportunity for cross fertilization of ideas between the Colombia Ambassador to Nigeria Her Excellency Marceilo Emmanuela, the Director preventing and countering Violent Extremism, Department of Counter Terrorism office of the National security Adviser Ambassador Abimbola Wanasikou and the representative of Nasarawa State government Yusuf Jibrin Maiangwa, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Liaison office Abuja.

One among the major resolutions of the meeting was the pass mark given to Governor Abdullahi Sule's administration commitment to peace building and Development.

The Colombia Ambassador to Nigeria Mrs Emmanuela re-affirmed the government of Colombia commitment towards supporting the Nasarawa State peace building initiative which ranked the state as one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.

The meeting was a follow up to an earlier meeting between the Colombia Ambassador to Nigeria and the representatives of Nasarawa State government , Yusuf Jibrin Maiangwa and Dr Abdulhamid Musa Tanko held at the Embassy of Colombia in Abuja, Tuesday.
