Governor Namadi Swears New Technical Adviser, 32 Special Advisers

Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA, has formally sworn in the newly appointed Technical Adviser on Basic Education, Dr. Hauwa Mustapha Babura, alongside 32 Special Advisers.

The governor charged the newly appointees to be dedicated to their duties in order to justify the confidence repose on them.

Governor Namadi said their appointment was based on merit and in recognition of their selfless service to humanity.

He also urged then to work in accordance with the 12 point agenda of his administration for a greater Jigawa

The memorable occasion held at Banquet Hall, Government House has in attendance members of the state cabinet, families and well wishers

RESOLUTION OF THE JIGAWA STATE
EXECUTIVE COUNCIL HELD ON
WEDNESDAY 22nd NOVEMBER, 2023

• The State Executive Council has today
22nd November, 2023 received progress reports on the various committees constituted byHis Excellency, Malam Umar Namadi FCA, specifically on JigawaCovid 19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (J-CARES),Drug Revolving Committee (DRF) and Higher EducationCommittees of Inquiries into the activities of College of Education& Islamic Studies, Ringim, College of Education Gumel and JigawaState Polytechnic, Dutse respectively. After the presentations theCouncil has deliberated and unanimously agreed to set up acommittee to come up with white papers
on each of the reports.

• The Council has also approved a memo
presented by Ministry ofHigher Education
for the payment of Tuition fees Accommodation, Application Fees and Foreign students supportservices in respect of 10no.
Jigawa State transferred student from
International University of Africa, Khartoum
Sudan to IntegralUniversity, India at cost of
Sixty-Five Thousand Six Hundred andFifty
Thousand US. Dollars ($65, 650,000.00) only.
Similarly, theCouncil has approved the sum
of Fifty-Three Million FiveHundred and
Sixty-Two Thousand, Two Hundred and
Ninety Five Naira, Eighty Kobo (N53,562, 295.
80) only for the paymentof 12 months living
allowances, Visa, Air Tickets and other logisticsfor travel arrangements.
