DAY 1: A SUBTLE MURDER
They say call a spade a spade. I have about three spades to call just spades. Though in some other climes have these spades been mistaken for shovels but here I shall call them what they are.
The first spade had to be a lady fair, comely and with an enchanting mien, and alluring gaiety. She had short dainty steps to her feet, steps so adorable like those of a prima donna; an instrument fit for lords but only left to wait on the weary master who's sucked away by war and its enervating filaments.
The second spade is a man of the loftiest stature, such stature that have stuck to the lips of men then, now and will continue down to the hereafter. But, he wasn't highly seated above the allures of a sweltering passion that burned him to his melting point. And he verily melted into the first spade.
The third spade is a blunt dude. I mean it when I say ' a blunt dude. ' I pray you find out. But he is the rightful owner of the first spade and also one of the second spade's many gallant warriors who wait at his (second spade's) beck and call.
Now, it happens that the first spade in all her beauty was inadvertently showing green lights. Depending on her own side of the story, had she been chanced to narrate, was right, for a woman in her prime couldn't stand the dangers of being wasted away over such excuses as merely being a soldier's wife and her husband all year round tied to the battlefield.
Some imps of discontentment, on a certain freaking Friday, assailed the second spade. To call a spade a spade, he was a loosed man. And in spite of his lofty stature, stooped low for his servant's maid. He had his way and even left an indelible mark and was about to surrender it against whom did not have a hand.
The third spade was a devote..... to his military principles and to his lord's selective commands. As if he knew, did not go into his wife, for fear of losing fitness, since the battlefield still called. He'd have saved his own life by doing so. He'd have also saved his life had he been just a little inquisitive or curious about knowing the content of the mail he was sent to deliver.
Morals:
_As a married woman, under whatever condition, hid yourself.
_Discontentment is a slap to who allows it dwell in his bossom.
_A little curiosity is a gainful attribute.
