SALUTE TO THE LATEST MAJOR GENERAL IN THE TOWN...

CONGRATULATIONS TO MAJOR GENERAL K. I. YUSUF

WE use this medium to extend her heartiest congratulation to the latest Major General in the land of Tìmì Àgbàlé Ọlọ́fà Iná, in the person of MAJOR GENERAL K. I. YUSUF. Our own Wester Sun.

It gives us great pleasure to hear your promotion to rank of Major General in Nigeria Army Council by virtue of Section 10 (1) and 11 (b) of the Armed Forces Act Cap A20 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

Out thirty nine (39) Brigadier Generals promoted to the rank of Major Generals, you made the list. This is historical as the first ever Major General in the town. This is no doubt a confirmation of your splendid patriotic work with standing professionalism in Nigerian Army.

Now as a Major General, your emblem will no longer be in silver colour again as your uniform will now carry emblem in golden colour. That is, your uniform will have a GOLDEN COLOUR EMBLEM of the CROSSED SWORD and BATON below a EAGLE on each shoulder.

Sincerely Sir, Ẹdẹ at large is very proud of you, the Timi of Ẹdẹland, Lawal Oba Adesola Hrm Laminisa 1st and all his subjects, both at home and in diasporas are proud of you and pleaded with accomplishment.

We pray that God will bless you with wherewithal necessary to discharge your duty and make the ranks of Lieutenant General and General attainable for you sooner than later. We also pray God almighty chose for the post of Chief of Army Staff soon, Amen.
