They grow so fast, don’t they? 😍
When they first started school in 2021, they were tiny but full of hope.

Now, just a few years later, they’re growing — not just in height, but in knowledge, confidence, and dreams.

This is what hope looks like when given a chance to learn. The journey of transformation is on — and it’s beautiful to watch.

Did you miss the conversation?😲
So many insights shared by our speakers.

Here are key takeaways for you

1. Anxiety, depression and sadness are some of the effects of trauma on kids who have witnessed violence.

2. Some future consequences include insomnia, fear, hopelessness and suicidal thoughts.

3. A major barrier preventing mental health support to these kids is a lack of awareness about its importance in communities.

4. Effective solutions to increasing access to mental health support include a community based approach, leveraging technology and integrating psychosocial support into existing projects.

Why should this topic concern you? Because the mental health of traumatic kids if left unaddressed, will affect the human capital development of our nation.

In conflict zones across Nigeria, thousands of children carry invisible wounds — not from bullets or hunger, but from trauma that lingers long after the noise fades. 💔

This event sheds light on the silent crisis — the mental health struggles of child survivors who have seen and endured too much, too soon.

Join the conversation. Let’s move beyond survival and talk about healing, restoration, and the urgent need for mental health support for every Nigerian child.
