Our talent for the day is Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as .

The artist hails from Ikwerre in Rivers State and comes from a line of musicians. His grandfather was a percussionist for legendary highlife singer, Celestine Ukwu, and his father was a drummer as well.

Omah Lay rose to prominence in early 2020 following the momentum generated by his release of “Bad Influence” in 2019, and ever since, he’s become one of the most celebrated young artists in Nigeria and Africa.

His latest single “Understand” is currently topping ’s top 100 Nigeria charts.

Graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in marketing, the rising talent decided to pursue a full time career in music in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since.

His latest body of work, the “LV N ATTN’ EP with was released about 2 months ago to massive critical and commercial acclaim, and one of it’s biggest tracks “Monalisa,” is currently number 3 on the Nigerian top 100 charts.

Our talent for today is Mizzle . The singer and songwriter started a series last year titled “How to Make an ‘X’ artist’s song” and his first example was Oxlade () who fell in love with the video and agreed to collaborate to make an actual song.

Six months later, that song is out. If you like songs with sweet chords, minimal drums and plenty of falsetto, go stream “Smile for you” by Mizzle and Oxlade. You won’t regret it.
