Cellphone Rant Final Episode
Yes, I finally received the phone and our old TV that was sent since 1st October on the 6th of October.
It was not worrisome that there was a delay but we were worried because of the conflicting stories the bus company was ditching out to us.They first. got our tracking number which was on the receipt issued to the sender at their Lagos station and confirmed to us that the phone has been given to a bus driver who was on his way and we should come the next day which was 3rd October.
We went in the afternoon of 3rd October and we were told two bus drivers arrived already but none had our package and the third was on the way we should come on the 4.th of October by 10am. Meanwhile, they took our phone number again and gave theirs. We waited for their call on the. 4th of October but we never got it so we decided to call them and of course our calls were not picked. We then headed to their station and another story started. After checking all the arrived packages the man at their station now started saying Lagos staff are a problem, we should track the driver or call the person that the package was sent through in Lagos because they have seen nothing like iPhone or TV. I now asked why they told us the first day that the goods were certainly on their way and no tangible response. We now called the sender who contacted their Lagos office who confirmed that the phone ought to have arrived since but the TV was on is way and should get there on the 5th.
To cut story short after a lot of threats of lawsuit and shouting, we discovered our phone has been with the driver since on the 3rd of October when he arrived. Our phone number was on the package as seen on the video but he never contacted us, but, took our phone all the way to Uyo and back and still did not deliver it to their office until we made a lot of noise which made them call him to bring the phone. He angrily delivered the phone to their office staff in front of us. I still wonder what would have happened if not for God. The Manager even called my bluff of lawsuit and said it won’t be their first.
We thank God that we got our goods safely because na court we for Dey head to so o.
