A story went viral where a woman entered an Uber, fell in love with the driver, and married him.

Nigerian men hailed her like she had done the most noble thing on earth. For one whole week, we didn’t hear word. They used her as an example to shade women who said “I can’t marry down.”

I have asked this question before, when will I ever hear a good story of a rich woman marrying a broke guy and it ended in peace? Or a ready made woman marrying an average man and it ended in happily ever after?

Anyway this same woman trended 2days ago and yesterday cos of her de:ath.

She gave him loans. She gave him her mother’s jeep. She poured her heart and soul into that marriage. She was loyal, submissive, some will even say she was a “mumu.”

And what did she get in return?

Cheating. Abvse. Emotional torture. Mental tra:uma.

They found her diary and if you read it you’d weep. She fought to make it work until it ended her life .

Marriage of 9months ended her life.

To see good men that can accommodate your financial success is rare..

Most men CANNOT stand a woman richer than them. It bruises their ego. Especially in Africa where archaic mentality still reigns.

STOP finding love below your level.

Stop thinking suffering love stories will give you a fairytale ending.
