Dr. Chukwudi Okoye, a lecturer at UNIZIK, was recently bitten by a student. Interestingly, most posts about him from current and past students have been overwhelmingly positive, describing him as one of the most unproblematic lecturers in the Theatre Arts Department.
This incident highlights the importance of being a good person. If Dr. Okoye had a reputation for harassing students, the situation might have unfolded differently.
The incident also brought back memories of my undergraduate days, when there was always that one lecturer who commanded respect and attention. As soon as they approached, you'd stand at attention, waiting for them to pass. I'm sure many can relate to having a lecturer like that.
