*REGULATORY POWER*
_“Power is the ability to control, influence, alter, or change one’s circumstance and destiny”_
Human’s affinity to power is one with him; born right from creation. It is in our nature to crave for power. It is generally unbearable to feel powerless over our lives, events, and every circumstance.
Though the world despise people who make obvious power moves, we all are caught up in the quest for power in an all-life time base. You may not be aware that most of the seemingly little things you think, say, or do all gush forth from you unconscious desire and need for regulatory power to influence the outcome of things that concerns you. The way you present yourself or your several indirect attempt to maneuver your ways around the things you reach out to achieve.
Our need for power is as old as our origin. We have always wanted to regulate everything that concerns us and our being. From the way we are perceived, rated, and treated by others; the chance of grabbing whatever we reach out to get; to our interaction with our physical and natural world. We at all times make overt, or insidious moves intended to shape the outcome of our circumstances. These instinctive moves sprout majorly from societal or natural conditioning. We are always concerned about how to stay in control of everything that concerns us, ranging from survival to social statues; dominance to social validation; security to aspirations. We want to willfully regulate sickness and diseases, wealth and riches, fears and limitations, social acceptance and our circumstance in general. We feel helpless and live as victims of life because we lack control over our daily lives, situations, and circumstance as much as we want to.
It is not our fault that we crave control. In fact, man was created to dominate the earth, and so he is naturally inclined to rebel and strive to overpower any external attempt to influence his circumstance, or even stand as hindrance to his desired achievement.
