Today, I used the last Thank you Nylon to package a customer’s order… and I had to pause.

When I first started this business, sales were so slow. Some days, weeks even months not a single order.
Other days, I’d post and post and still barely get any response.
But I didn’t give up.

Then from 1st of Aprill, something shifted.
Orders started rolling in. People started noticing. The same business that once felt silent… suddenly picked up, all because I stayed consistent, kept showing up, and didn’t stop believing in the dream.

Now, just like that, 100 nylons are gone, used one by one, for real paying customers. 🥺

This might be small to some, but to me, it’s a huge milestone.
It’s proof that small wins grow into big victories when you don’t quit.

I’m not at 1,000 orders yet but I know I’m on the road there.
And this is only the beginning

To every single person who has supported me, shared my post, bought from me, or even encouraged me with kind words. I’m so grateful.

But most days, I just wear wig, clean face, and act like everything dey alright.

Yesterday, I was gisting with my man and I told him, “Watch o, my mom will call me tomorrow to wish me Happy Children’s Day.” We laughed about it.

Early this morning, my mom’s call came in. I was still sleeping, so I didn’t pick up because if I did, I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep. I planned to call her later, but I totally forgot.

Around 11 a.m., she called again while I was on my way back from delivering an item to a customer.

My mom: My love, good morning.
Me: Good morning mommy, how body na?
My mom: Fine o. Happy Children’s Day o!
Me: Happy Children’s Day bawo? (laughing)😂

We both laughed for a few minutes, then she continued.

My mom: You still be my pikin o.
Me: No be small thing o! (still laughing) Thank you ma!
My mom: Even me too, na children o!

And just like that, she called all six of us, her grown adult children to wish us Happy Children’s Day.

She does this every single year.
