We have faced difficult moments, but we are still standing, still hoping, and still believing in a better Nigeria. 🇳🇬

May peace return to every community, may our children grow up with hope, and may Nigeria continue to rise. 🙏🏽

THIS IS NOT JUST A COMMENT. THIS IS HATE. 💔

I came across this comment under the picture of one of us, a Chibok girl who survived captivity, now a mother holding her babies.

As one of the Chibok girls who survived captivity, I find this deeply painful and disturbing.

We survived captivity. We lost years of our lives. We endured things no child should ever experience. Some of us have gone on to become mothers, and their children are innocent.

A baby is not a terrorist. A child is not responsible for the sins or actions of anyone else.

Please, let us be careful with our words. These children deserve love, safety, and a future, not hatred and predictions of violence simply because of who their mothers are.

We survived. We are rebuilding our lives. And their children deserve the chance to grow up in peace.

To my fellow Chibok sisters: your children are not defined by what happened to us.
