Whippers and the Weepers

They are the whippers,
We are the weepers
They are lethal whippers,
We are lenient weepers

They whip like vipers, we weep like paupers;
Their whips don't stir imposition of
Corporal pangs on us, but they
Inflict lethal psychological sufferation

They whip us with privation;
We weep in servitude and devotion.
They whip us with taxation;
We weep with avid submission

The whippers aren't
Botherers from across
Borders and shores but our own
Brethren from our bloodlines

They whip us cont, and we weep on,
They whip us lethally, we weep leniently;
We don't elect them, the umpires select them
They are the looters, we are the losers.

Nigerian Teachers: The Unsung and Relegated Fountain of Life

In the land where dreams dance with hope,
There stands a fountain, teachers' scope.
Nigerian educators, their hearts aflame,
Guiding minds, nurturing future's name.

They pour knowledge like a gentle stream,
Quenching thirsts, igniting each gleam.
From humble shores, they rise each day,
With wisdom's gifts, they light the way.

Yet, society turns a blind eye,
To this fountain, where brilliance lies.
Neglected, abandoned, like a forgotten song,
Teachers toil, their spirits strong.

Oh, the nation drinks from their sacred well,
Drawing strength, tales of progress they tell.
But society, oh callous society,
Treats this fountain with disdain and piety.

Underpaid, underappreciated, the plight they bear,
Their hearts burdened, yet they persevere.
For the love of knowledge, they fight the fight,
Shaping minds, chasing visions bright.

Educators, warriors of the classroom's realm,
Their passion, a force at the helm.
They sow seeds of wisdom, nurture growth,
Yet society's disregard stings them both.

Let us rise, as a united voice,
To honor these pillars, our noble choice.
Let the fountain flow, with respect and care,
For our nation's future, they steadfastly bear.

Embrace the teachers, their worth reclaim,
Celebrate the fountain, ignite its flame.
For Nigerian educators, our nation's pride,
Shall forever be the well from which we stride.

Children are like seeds brought forth from a fruit and distributed to different gardeners to nurture. They have equal chances to grow into a variety of giant trees if nurtured with fairly equal opportunities. But looking at them in the face as budding trees, we neither know what they bear in mind nor what their real dreams are. So, we often underrate their potentials, under-estimate the power of their minds, and consequently fall short of their expectations.
'Hope and the Monster’ presents the mind of the child, with special regards to her dreams and her real expectations. Led by Hope, an exceptional child born into affluence but unusually humble, and with a heart for the downtrodden, the children, through Better Tomorrow Advocacy Club formed by Hope, use hunger strike, boycotting of school and streets protests to fight against all forms of amorality and socio-political anomies, and Senior Brother (SB), with his group, is inspired to initiate a step for change. The desired change is achieved, but like many other big-wigs, Hope’s parents couldn’t stand the storm. To them ‘Hope’ is a spear that pierced their hearts, but to the world, she bears the light of hope…...

Below here is the synopsis of the story,. I'm rooting for you.👇👇👇

A city is under a siege - a hydra headed monster is about to decimate the city and devour its people.

Everyone is apprehensive but no one could stand up to the monster head on.

Those who could have stood up to stop the monster couldn't because they have stains of the monster's blood. So they can't dare to confront it else they will become the first people it would devour.

Apprehension mounts, and grief reigns as the monster continues its rampaging attack on the people unstoppably.

Then a little girl of eight, Hope, an only child of her parents, stands up to the monster.

The monster is truly monstrous. She can't fight it alone. So she recruits her friends at school to join her for the task. And together, the children match agaisnt the monster.

It turns out that to defeat the monster everyone who has stains of the monster's blood in the city must be sacrificed to the monster else no one can defeat it.

In the process, Hope discovers that many people in the city, including her parents, have stains of the monster's blood.

So she sacrifices her parents and all others who have stains of the monster's blood to the monster so that she can defeat it and save the city and its remaining people.

Find out what the monster is, which city it's about to decimate and how Hope and her friends were able to defeat it and save their city and its remaining people.
