Today's sermon reminded me of the powerful truth found in Psalm 92:1. "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord!"

In a world that can sometimes focus on what's lacking, let's make a conscious effort to shift our gaze to the goodness of God.

A Moment of Compassion.

As I sat grading papers after school, a group of students remained, studying and preparing for exams. Among them was a young boy who owed me lesson fees. But what struck me wasn't his debt, it was the hunger in his eyes.

When I asked about the fees, he confessed he hadn't eaten since morning. His words touched my heart, and I knew I had to act. I gave him money to buy food, forgetting about the owed fees.

In that moment, I realized that teaching goes beyond academics.

It's about showing compassion, empathy, and kindness.

This young boy's struggle reminded me of the challenges many students face, and the importance of being more than just a teacher, being a source of support and hope.

I share this story not to highlight my actions, but to emphasize the impact we can have on others' lives.

As educators, we have the power to make a difference, one small act of kindness at a time.

As you seek more from the divine, remember that your ability to receive is intertwined with your willingness to give. Your journey to success is inherently linked to your generosity.

Recognize that the same force that empowers you to achieve prosperity also urges you to give back. You've been blessed not just to thrive yourself, but to uplift those in need.

Don't postpone acts of kindness until abundance surrounds you. Every contribution you make comes back to you manifold, and those you assist today may become your guardians tomorrow.

Your generosity not only aids the less fortunate but also enriches your own life. Remember, reluctance to give may open doors for negativity to enter.

The Power of Connection: A Teacher's Heartwarming Experience.

📌 As teachers, we often underestimate the impact we have on our students' lives. Recently, I had a humbling experience that reminded me of the power of connection and the importance of building meaningful relationships with our students.

📌 On my birthday, my students surprised me with an outpouring of love and appreciation. They presented me with thoughtful gifts, each one carefully chosen to show their gratitude. But what touched my heart the most was the sincerity and thoughtfulness behind their actions.

📌 Some students apologized for not having wrapping paper, but still wanted to bring something for me. Others expressed their desire to give, despite not having much. These moments showed me that our students value our presence in their lives and are eager to reciprocate the love and care we show them.

This experience taught me valuable lessons:

1. Connection matters: Building meaningful relationships with our students is crucial. It creates a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

2. Sincerity shines through: Our students can see through superficial actions. When we show genuine interest and care, they respond with sincerity and thoughtfulness.
