"I am not just a worn-out Bible…"
I once carried the hope of Christ to people in a far-off Malawian village, even though some of my pages, and even entire books, had fallen out. I was all they had.

My owner never gave up. He preached from my remaining pages, clinging to every verse, until kind hearts, just like yours, provided him with a new Bible.

Did you know? On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples as RUSHES OF WIND and TONGUES OF FIRE!But here's the amazing part: despite their own weaknesses and fears, the disciples were EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit to speak in DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, declaring the wonders of God to people from every nation!This marked a powerful moment in history, empowering ordinary people to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world!Just like the disciples, we can be empowered by the Holy Spirit to overcome our weaknesses and share the love of Christ with others. Let's be inspired by their example!

Fun Fact: Pentecost was the world's first "power-up" moment!

Why? After Jesus ascended, the disciples waited 10 days in the Upper Room—praying but probably feeling somewhat at a loss. Then BAM! The Holy Spirit rushed in like a mighty wind, filling them with boldness, joy, and the ability to speak languages they’d never learned!

Talk about a spiritual upgrade! They went from hiding to preaching to thousands in a single morning.
